80s I am drawn to rubbish tv singing shows.

Though I have never really got into BGT. Don't know why.

Celeb X Factor was boring. It felt like a vehicle for Megan Mckenna to make a name for herself in the music biz. Really fixed, with all her 'self written' stuff. It was no fun at all.
And then Covid happened. So that's karma for youGrin.

Yes, the celeb X factor was fixed and rubbish.
I'm not into BGT either. Maybe the first one when it was on for seven nights and over with , then it ' blew up ' and was on for months! Then it became a kids singing contest.
Then I lost interest.
I'm on the Alan Carr show now. Need more gin

Wrcged the first 10 minutes and tight how dull! So turned over to ITV to watch the new show there Game of Talents with Vernon Kaye and found it well entertaining. In fact, thought there might be a thread about it on MN actually. Might have to start my own one if theee isn't!!

I haven’t watched it - mainly because of Alison and Amanda. I can only imagine how bad their braying and ‘hysterical’ laughter is going to be.

I like Paddy but am not fond of the others.

Feel free to tell me to wind my tongue in or tell me to save myself an hour of pain.

But fecsake BBC. There are plenty of folk who would give this a good crack. We don’t have to have the same old faces on every channel and every programme.

I enjoyed it. It's based on a Korean show. BBC probably looked for a format to use after the success of Masked Singer!
