Taskmaster Series 11

Did anyone watch this last night? I'm so glad it's back. We've been watching the old ones practically every day recently with the kids in anticipation of this new series. It's still odd and flat in the studio with no audience there and the big gaps between everyone, but the tasks themselves are golden.
I think Mike Wozniak is going to emerge as the star of this series. The combo of his 'nature is weird' song, his balalaika playing of the theme tune and the super cautious plates on a hoverboard task absolutely sold him to me.

Well, well, well, that was quite something last night. I too am even more in love with Mike after 'the incident', so not sure what that says about me, tbh...

His hilarious chat on the podcast with Ed and v funny tweets this morning about his arse and paparazzi have just cemented the love.

The podcast was great, and I think Ed is as much in love with Mike as the rest of us.

Haven't watched latest episode yet but I enjoy reading spoilers - I've got the gist of what happens and am slightly apprehensive about watching this episode 🤣

Just watched it too. Can't believe he only got one point for that - how long did spend trying, and then gave himself a haemorrhoid and yet still only worth one point apparently! Greg's scoring seems totally off this series - I noticed this episode he praised Lee's prize task at the time and then gave him 1 point saying it was rubbish! His scoring seems totally random sometimes!

Do you remember when Mark Watson was given a task of sending Greg a cheeky text every day for five months? He did it every day for very nearly five months but because he missed a couple of days he scored zero points. The ruthlessness of the scoring is half the fun.

@bonfireheart Do you mean Off Menu, the podcast Ed does with James Acaster? It's very good, in addition to the Taskmaster podcast he does. Ed's a very warm and welcoming podcast host.

Last night's tasks were fiendish!

It was brilliant!! I absolutely lost it at "you've got no chutzpah!!" 🤣🤣
And Charlotte's ongoing audition to be a children's TV presenter... Its just marvellous.

Although I do love little Alex Horne too. Has anyone else seen the Horne Section? We saw them a couple of years ago in a comedy club and I cried laughing for most of the evening. Glad to hear he's a good egg too by the sounds of it.

The Horne Section are brilliant. Mike is actually a qualified doctor- imagine him pulling back the curtain around your hospital bed!

Mike is on a new podcast with Benjamin Patridge and Henry Paker called 3 Bean Salad. only one episode so far but very good.
