Neither of the new players particularly wowed me, I have to say. If Pippa was chocolate she’d eat herself.

I think Vithun is playing a clever game. The quiet, middle of the pack place is proven to be prize winning - think Paddy last year!

I was amazed by Gemma / James’ honesty! That’s going to be interesting!

I reallllly wish Natalya had gone in as herself, she’s brilliant. Felix is so meh - Natalya is amazing!

I did laugh when Andy said maybe Gemma is catfishing as an ex Gladiator 😂 I've often thought that if I were in the Circle, I'd think I was in the Truman Show, with no other actual players - I'd be so paranoid about everything. So. Andy, who's all about "no way will I let a catfish win" actually always gets rid of players that he doesn't suspect are catfish. Also, WHY shouldn't a catfish win?! It's a GAME, and the point is to win over the others. Re series 1, Freddie was just awful.

I think Andy is playing a sly game where he’s purposefully getting rid of the genuine players early thinking that it will then be easy to call catfish and get rid of the other players later. If he assumes everybody has the same mindset as him that a catfish can’t win the game getting rid of genuine players makes him a lot stronger.

I actually like that they've added a couple of new players to mix things up, though no more after this pls producers (!)

Random aside: does anyone know where Manrika's camo dungarees are from? Asking for a friend.

Also. I always thought Hunter was really unattractive and had no clue what Ulrikakaka saw in him, but I find him v attractive now!
I keep waiting for the voiceover to say something about Manrikakaka

When I was younger we went to see live filming. I remember John Fashnu being lovely talking to audience and the gladiatord. Ulrika had such a miserable face. Walk on, do her lines, stomp off and disappear.

It's amazing how years later I can remember so many BB contestants but not the twists, so maybe they need to learn it's the people who make the show.

Although as someone here suggested it would be so good if a new contestant came in but took on the real character of one of the existing cat fish. Would love to see someone turn up pretending to be Hunter!

Gemma nooooo! Andy was the worst person to tell, he loves catfish ousting and he's now going to use it to pressure James into revealing, pompous twat. You can never trust the circle. He's too popular for her to oust instead. His best reaction to the reveal would have been to laugh it off but remember she'd said it, I think. Since you're allowed to play as a catfish, I don't get the obsession with hunting them in this series, especially Andy. Do you think he's been scammed or catfished badly IRL? It seems a vendetta. There was a catfish delivered to him on a plate the other day and despite being the Catfisher King, he sent home Tally. He started to look really arrogant last night. I know Gemma was stupid to give up the info but the way he was talking was tactical but so pompous.

Manrika is also really unpleasant. I respect her owning up to Tally and treating it as the game it is, but she just comes over incredibly arrogant and bitchy in herself, too. Her obsession with Gemma is pretty vile to watch. I'd love Andy and Manrika to drop a few popularity points and get blocked.

The new girl is a bit cocky but the guy seems fun. @GreenHairThingy I also think Felix is such an obvious catfish! I don't understand how no one has had any suspicions about him. I went off Natalya after her little integrity speech, but I don't see why she didn't play as herself but lie about her job if she was so sure they wouldn't believe she was an MP. She's very smart, she'd be far more interesting to watch as herself.

I think manrika doesn't like Gemma because she's naturally pretty.

Since you're allowed to play as a catfish, I don't get the obsession with hunting them in this series, especially Andy.
There is no way he genuinely 100% thinks Dot is real. And yet he saved her. He needs to realise that tbh the catfish (Gemmq, Felix and Syed) are actually the more interesting people haha!

I've only just found this thread, so glad I'm not the only person who loves this! I miss BB, but this is not a bad substitute I suppose. Not sure about Pippa just 6et, seems a bit full overconfident. I thought it would be finishing this week, but obviously not as they've just added 2 more players.

I’m thinking Gemma/Hunter should now stir things up for Andy. Maybe start a private chat with Syed or Dot and say how Andy is accusing him of being a catfish and how upsetting it is!! He could easily turn round and say ‘Hunter?? Are you serious, what a bizarre idea. I think Andy is playing a game’. Then they may turn on Andy a bit, he has too much power for my liking.

I wish Scott had gone in as himself rather than Dot, he could have been so much funnier.

Will Vithun ever get excited about anything? He is staying under the radar and never rocking the boat unless it’s in anonymous mode. He is boring, hope he is next out but I can’t see anyone blocking him...

@HaroldandGeorge- the problem is that Gemma has already been "proven to lie" because of the Assassin game and a few people suspect she is a catfish anyway. I don't think they'd believe her.

If Andy says "Gemma is a catfish" they'll all say yes we'd already guessed.
If Andy says "Gemma is Hunter" most of them seem too young to know to truly comprehend the ridiculousness of it!
Tbh I don't want Gemma or any of the OG players to go cos then it'll get boring.

He/she needs to do something tactical @MrsToothyBitch else Andy is going to go in for the kill!! I liked Andy at the start, but the power has gone to his head. I think Syed/Hashu, and Scott/Dot may be easily manipulated by Gemma if she tries hard enough.

I think you’d need to be at least in your thirties to know who the gladiators are. I’m 43 and remember it so well. So, yes that rules out most of the group lol!!

to be fair, I know exactly who Hunter is, but I would have taken a while to realise it was him if I hadn't been told

I still don't understand why Andy is so popular/meh among them - there's no actual character shining through. The last 2 series, there have been real connections between some players, and some proper deep chats, but we're not really seeing anything like that this time

When the newbies introduced themselves and the OG players were like "yeah can't wait to talk to you more about your interesting life" I was like meh you don't ever ask each other anything!!

My 16 year old knows who Hunter is, but neither of us realised that Gemma/James was Hunter.

Does anyone else think it was odd and mean that when the voice over was saying who was on each team for the party game he said "..... and no-one picked Vithun, so he's on Pippa's team" - Why call that out? Just felt really mean to me.
