Hi, l have just watched the 1st eposide of series 2 and it looks like it’s going to be a very interesting series. Is there anyone else watching, besides me!

The pairing was always going to be a disaster. She really didn't think it through, it fell at the most basic hurdle of having enough clean glasses for the guests.
The menu was totally unsuited to it. She changed the serving style. The guests could have given less of a shit about the pairing menu they just wanted food, booze and a fun time. Save it for when you can plan it properly and have a charter who are really into the gourmet/ sophisticated dining experience.

The "what's coming later this season" looks great. Why can't we binge-watch?!

I am watching abroad so have to watch on Amazon Prime so apologies if I am not in synch! No spoilers: this week it should have been episode 8 but it is showing as unavailable and we got episode 9 instead. Any ideas what that is about?

It was ep 9 that dropped on Hulu yesterday. Did you miss an ep and now it’s not showing? That’s mean!

Yes, episode 8 just says "unavailable". No idea why! Thought it might have been withdrawn for some legal reasons or something but if you can see it, clearly not!

Just realised that I am watching them on Hayu through Amazon Prime.

The new version of below deck called Below Deck Adventure is starting on November 1st on Bravo so hopefully the same time on Hayu. The advert is out now 😀😀

Natasha is now getting nasty texts from her boyfriend? The fact that she is over a thousand miles away and just asking him to not do it because she’s working shows how much she likes the drama. And getting her sister involved too. I enjoyed watching her fail with the Steven thing.

She's also starting to sidle up to poor Dave who just seems to have recovered.

Yeah I thought that was very weird. Why rope your sister in like that.

Yeah Steven went down like a lead balloon. And was one way to ensure they went to bed early. Be interesting to see if that gets back to Capt Sandy/ mentioned on departure. Or if they were so tipsy they have forgotten all about it

Loving Storm & Mzi, feeling quite sorry for Jason though it's hard to try & fit into a team where everyone already knows each other although he could make a little more of an effort

I agree about Jason (& I'm also with you about loving all the different Below Decks). I bet it's edited to just show the bits where he messes up though. It's a shame as he was great at the beginning, when Raygan couldn't carry the heavy stuff & Mzi & Storm were yet to arrive. He just cracked on & did it. Storm has a lot to learn about managing people so you get the best out of them.

Do you need qualifications to specifically become bosun??? There is a lot of H&S type responsibilities for a start. I'm surprised you can just be promoted like Storm was.

He’s a better bosun that the Down Under one!

I agree it must be hard to be on your own but I do think Jason isn’t attempting to do anything about it both social and work wise. He’s still late a lot and not doing things properly, and his responses are quite cold when he doesn’t get the joke.

Just had a bit of a binge, up to ep 11 - am surprised Natalya managed this long without getting pissed off with Kyle and Natasha - I mean Natasha has been off her game so long I'm not sure she was ever on it and since that guy (Frank?) turned up Kyle has been as useful as...I just don't know. I mean do they really not see how much they've slacked? Kyle is def slipping - he was so rude about the last guests (the one's who really didn't need to meet Stephen) when they were actually some of the nicest people they've had. Why doesn't Natasha just tell her boyfriend or whatever the f he is she has to leave her phone in the cabin so she can't reply to him straight away. Oh that's why, she loves the drama :)

Promoting Storm was probably Sandy's only option, trouble is he doesn't have the people skills to deal with people like Jason. I get it's hard for Jason when the others already have a connection but you just put the time and effort in...no-one is going to like you when you're taking extra breaks and being crap. Storm needs to buckle up and just tell Sandy he's going to fire him so she can line up a replacement (can we have someone returning please rather than newbie!).
