Hi, l have just watched the 1st eposide of series 2 and it looks like it’s going to be a very interesting series. Is there anyone else watching, besides me!

I really enjoyed this season because of the lack of drama - once Lexi had left, obvs! It was nice to see their working relationships without the arguing and fighting. I thought they seemed like a really nice group of kids, genuinely supportive of each other professionally and as friends. Matthew however continued to creep me out throughout the season. All his chat about sex parties & being terribly needy by constantly asking Katie for approval of his menu choices. Totally lacking awareness that any other crew member might be feeling stressed or overworked.

I did kind of love that Courtney was totally trolleyed at the reunion. She's so funny. I hope she appears in another season.

I'm fascinated how much Malia stuck up for Katie over Delaney.

Chef mat, always a douche.

But other than the Sandy/Mat beef, this is the most united crew I've seen at this stage. They clearly all really, really hated Lexi and that really cemented their friendships.

Wow. The captain on the latest season of BD is a challenging character, right?! He's awful!! Poor Eddie. I hope Lee is back by next episode.

Really disliking the Chief Stew and the "I was previously Head of Housekeeping" chap. Both rather up themselves & there'll be fireworks before too long. He's pretty useless if he left a bag of rubbish behind in the master suite. Surely that's a basic thing to check for?

And with Rachel back too...I don't think any of this makes for a harmonious season. It feels like BD might be going the same way as Big Brother where they simply go for the most controversial characters, irrespective of whether the crew will gel or not.

Although the Med one was the most harmonious yet.

I hope Rachel is off the sauce. She’s probably the best chef. I still always imagine it’s her doing all the jingles on Watch What Happens Live 😂

I agree with this 100%! Love Chef Rachel!

Love Rachel too, she and Ben are the only chefs who seem to understand what the job entails on a super yacht. They both anticipate guests needs and all the other chefs chase their tails a bit.

Also can't deal with the new chief stew, or the made in Chelsea chap, though I think his complaints about lack of plan/communication were valid, his weird reaction to being told what to do was so annoying.

Seen the 1st episode of the new season

Well the new capt. I like how he's mucking in I.e hoovering his bridge and stuff. To the point he's too involved

Not keen on the chief stew, and she's already clashing with the British stew. That never ends well. I hope I'm wrong but it's usual for the interior to be the weak link

Maybe I'm so used to that fab Med crew but there's al already friction after one episode

I think Eddie and Rachel need one big slanging match to clear the air

If it wasn’t for the whiskey drunks this would would have been so flat.

I hope it picks up a bit, I don’t even feel like I’m getting to know the crew well, even in a non drama way.

I reckon Sean with the thermos flask of liquor and the woman are having an illicit work affair and they had a massive break up on the flight over or something.

I googled and they split up. Not sure if she is single now as it was a while ago.

They haven't mentioned Rachel's boyfriend and as he was such a focus last time I thought they would. Also she was so quiet at the night out I actually thought she wasn't there and had to rewind to check....is she drinking or not? She went to bed very quick after coming home.

When eddy and her were having their make up let's be friends chat. Eddie was having a bottle of beer and Rachel had a bottle of water 🤷‍♀️

I'm really not keen on the chief stew. I might warm to her yet though.

She didn't even acknowledge that his comments were fair.....she was a monster drunk. She just wanted the apology......at the time I really respected Eddie for the fact that he didn't sit there and mock her but walked away....

Jury's out on Chief Stew.....we'll see how it goes.....

I agree that Eddie’s views about Rachel were justified. She constantly drank to excess & was obnoxious even when sober (who would ever speak to their boss that way?). I think her anger at Eddie is hugely misplaced. She’s ashamed & embarrassed by her behaviour & using Eddie as a solid source to deflect her feelings about herself.

The British lead deck dick hand is that same that breed of douche bag which only
British men can achieve. They lack the bravado of the Americans, don't have that bad boy vibe of the Aussies and South Africans or that tall dark and handsome thing going on. Just such a twat

When is the med back on?

It’s just finished so it won’t be until next summer after Sailing Yacht finishes (if it’s happening).

Also they'll have to fit the Icelandic version and there's another new version which I forget where it will be set into the schedule as well

I think that because the last Med crew got on like a house on fire this has been brought into sharper focus.

That’s probably true. That’s a cracking version. I hadn’t heard about the Icelandic version. Is that replacing sailing yacht separate? Is it English speaking crew still or a complete Icelandic version?
