New Season - RH of New Jersey

If I’ve missed a thread on this already, apologies.

For those that have HAYU, Season 11 of RHONJ started last week (showing on Thursdays each week). Teresa is already off on one! Her eldest daughter continues to be growing into a sensible soul - bless her, she’s been through a lot (she annoyed me in the very early seasons!).

I've no idea how Gia has turned out so seemingly well adjusted! Love RHONJ, one of my favourites

They really are addictive and complete trash! I ended up paying for Hayu thanks to Below Deck. I see the RH series as just getting more value out of the subscription

I justify the £5 a month as good value for binge watching trash in the winter evenings!

I’ve still got all seasons of New York to watch, not seen them before. Think that will be one for the end of this year.

@Furries I haven't watched them all but I loved NY - lots of crazy characters - and BH (amazing houses!) - both probably my favourites although NJ also very entertaining. I've tried a couple of others but not really got into any in the same way.

It's the only thing I can binge watch. I'm incapable of just sitting down and vegging out.

@RockingMyFiftiesNot - BH is my favourite, all the seasons have been great. Have you watched the Sydney one? There’s only one season, it got canned as they were so vile!

Yes I did, and can see why it was canned. Am watching Dallas ATM, but about to can it, they are so childish.

Dallas is worth continuing with. They’re definitely a bit more childish, but Leanne (think she’s in it from the beginning) proves to be an interesting and manipulative character. And in some ways, the childishness mixed with the money makes things more batshit!

Melbourne was good too - there were rumours last year that they’d be doing season 5, not sure if still going ahead though.

I’ve had a fair bit of a break catching up with other stuff.

So tonight, I caught up on some of the last few weeks. Some really uncomfortable moments (aside from the usual bickering between the women!).

The Joe and. Melissa dynamic was not good to watch. She can come across as a bit “smug” occasionally, but she does step 8n when needed and shouldn’t be made to feel rubbish for trying to develop a business.

The stuff with Jennifer and her parents was even worse. Really uncomfortable viewing. Am sure that there is artistic license in the editing, but I wouldn’t be happy as a member of cast to have things aired in this way.

Not sure now if I’m going to give them more airtime after this series.
