Our Girl Thread 59 "Our Girl and Soldier Soldier Revisited"

We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier. We are now on series 7.

Hobbs has really gone over the top. He is leaving...good for him! Way to go....

Angela and the tall vet are having some fun. He wants her to go away with him.

Few home truths for the Colonel don't suppose it will have much effect unfortunately

Julie - you should have stuck with neither, dear.

Hobbs has bought himself out. Looks like Kate wasn't in this series, so they found a way to let him leave.

Good on Mark for buying himself out.

Poor Angie realises she still loves Chris, for all his faults.

Lawrence the vet seems a decent sort as well.

Yes eejit, we've been telling Julie all along! She's not taken our advice.

Not sure whether to feel glad for Angie here. I think the tall vet would have been nice. He is being so lovely to her...ahhh

Karen and Julie have a long conversation about Julie's pregnancy. Looks as if she's plannilng on an abortion.

Oh no, poor Jeremy is getting a tongue lashing from the evil colonel.

The Colonel is blaming Jeremy for the mistake at the exercise.

Can't help feeling sorry for Julie. She's been let down so badly. Her choice of men is way off though so it was only to be expected.

Angie and Chris are back together again. Hurray!

I'm really praying now this wretched Colonel gets his comeuppance at some point. Surely before the end of series

I'm guessing Julie isn't going to tell Jacko where she's been.

Blimey, that was a bad thing to say. Poor Jacko - twerp that he is.

Looks like they thought they'd manufacture another source of tension. Julie should have kept this to herself, if she wasn't going to consult him first.

Julie is in a real pickle now. Confessing to Jacko might not have been the right thing.

Oh, good , Angie and Chris have a happy ending.
