Our Girl Thread 59 "Our Girl and Soldier Soldier Revisited"

We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier. We are now on series 7.

Danny Dyer is in East Enders and does a quiz show on a Saturday night too. He's the one who is very distantly related to Edward III, they discovered it in Who Do You Think You Are?

See, that's why Stacey has been sent elsewhere. He doesn't want her involved if there's trouble. She has done ambush and evasion training. This is very sexist isn't it.

We learn that the Colonel's wife left him. Are we surprised? I don't think so. I wonder if he's always been so sexist.
