Our Girl Thread 59 "Our Girl and Soldier Soldier Revisited"

We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier. We are now on series 7.

Gorgeous cat - forgiven

The two lovebirds are running away together by the looks of it. Not the most romantic of starts though if they're sleeping at the railway station!

So SM Angry's stupid behaviour has resulted in Lucy and her boyfriend running away.

Looks like a night on the pavement has dampened their ardour a little.

My cat says thank you for the compliments but he knows he's gorgeous!

So the stalker has got rid of Angie’s colleague.

Angie was fine but then the delivery driver arrived and its...Nev. Lucky the phone was still connected. Now Chris has gone to rescue her from his clutches.

More rusty, scratchy, scary music

Nev goes into the recruitment office pretending to be a courier. Now he's waving a crowbar in her face. Obviously being turned down to join up has affected his brain. She was on the phone with Chris at the time and as Nev pulls the phone out of its socket and the phone goes dead, Chris realises something is afoot and races off to rescue her.

What exactly is he planning to do?

Isn't Angie trained in any sort of combat at all? She must have done some physical training.

Phew! Angie manages to escape, straight into Chris’s arms.

Angie escapes his clutches and runs outside just as Chris appears with the police.

Just in the nick of time - Chris sort of rescues her but she escaped first.

Yawn, yawn, Andy's parents make up.

I think the cat wants to join our watchalong!

Andy's Mum has been feeding the greyhound up because she's skinny! That was her parting shot as she went home to make up with Mr Butcher snr.

Well, that was a bit of an odd ending. At least the stalker got his comeuppance.
