What's happened to Warwick? He doesn't seem himself at all.

I thought this too. His voice is a bit strangled, his accent seems a bit off and he looks different. Maybe he’s been ill?

I think he is reading off an autocue - a lot of it is scripted, and therefore he comes across as wooden.

This must be a new thing as I don't remember it from previous series. Producer has made a poor decision - Warwick doesn't need an autocue

Just been googling. It says he had a stroke in 2018 so might be linked to that? But funnily enough, my DH said maybe he’s practising an accent for a new acting role, and it said in the article he’s been doing a voice for an animation which he says has been exhausting. So maybe he’s confused himself with his accent??? Hopefully it’s that and not his health.

Yes I noticed and even googled if he was unwell. I thought his voice was rather strange. I do hope he's ok

When he goes off script I.e when he has to respond to what a contestant says, he is much more natural

I think he looks and sounds unwell. His spark, smile and quips have all but disappeared, talking seems slurred and an effort. It's like looking at a different person and I really do hope he is ok.

His smile isn’t the same and he seems to lack confidence.

I think Tenable is a great format and Warwick is a charming host, but it is so slow I find it unwatchable!

The endless repeating of the rules for each player, I think there is only about 20 minutes of active quiz content in the whole hour.

I thought this too he seems like a different person, I hope he's not unwell. I've only seen old episodes from a couple of years ago so maybe he has been ill between then and now. Didn't know if they were doing any more due to covid?

Two days ago I thought the same but since then he seems to be a bit more normal. I don't know how long ago these were recorded but I did google to find out if he'd been unwell. I really like him and don't want him to be ill!

He must be well liked as I've never really thought or cared about the health of a "celeb" before!

Well, on today’s episode he definitely seemed more jolly but I wonder if the intro was filmed at a different time as he definitely seemed ‘off’ at the start when he talks to camera then walks off.

@KylieKangaroo He has had such sadness and trauma in his life and so to think he is ill or having health issues is worrying. He is universally liked I think.

He did seem more at ease in today's episode.

We noticed how different his voice sounded at the start of the new series! Very odd? Seems to have settled down as the episodes have gone on though.

I'm finding it hard to watch. He seems to have lost his confidence.

Sally Lindsay has taken over presenting the show! She's about as good at it as she is at acting in terrible channel 5 dramas! Wonder what has happened to Warwick?

I believe SL took over because Warwick' schedule for other work was too busy, he's doing a film I think.

He said this on social media-

Oh that's good. At least he'll be back soon!

Yes I can't watch it with her, nothing against her it's just not the same without Warwick!
