I watched last week with AJ.

Started Samantha last night.

AJ's utterly horrified me and actually made me so upset. I've never seen such a narcissistic relationship between a parent and child.

The Mum was cooking pies, fry ups etc when she should have been supporting her fucking child. It was clear that AJ was her reason for survival and that their dependency gave her a purpose. She didn't want AJ to get better.

I think it really draws into the limelight for the first time how food addiction is really a mental health issue. AJ was clinically depressed, I truly thought suicidal at points.

That household was toxic, from the mattress in the corner, not even a sheet on it, to the Mother's refusal to address them by their new name it was just so sad. After a lifetime of bullying this is the result.

I so hope that AJ gets a life of peace and happiness and they achieve all they deserve. Just the saddest thing.

Thanks @purpleme12 it had dropped off page one so I didn’t see it, have commented on it now. @intheenddoesitreallymatter I know right! What a life, I felt for AJ so much and mum to a certain extent but the relationship had become so toxic, I wouldn’t enable that life for my child, it’s no kind of life.
