I've just binge watched Bancroft, and The Bay and loved them both. Happy Valley has been on my watch list for ages but I don't know what to watch first. Searching has led me to Marcella so I'm debating those two for tonight but I'm open to suggestions.

So far I've watched:
Vera
Morse/Endeavour/Lewis
Shetland
The Loch
Broadchurch (only 2 episodes as I googled the show and sadly got spoilers Sad) and I wasn't keen on the details of it all. I struggle with anything involving children, especially young children.
Thingy and Dobbs or was it Dodds?
Unforgotten (only about 3 episodes so far)

Anything else that I've missed?

Happy Valley is great. We've just watched Guilt which is on iPlayer. Enjoyed that. About two Scottish brothers. Bit of a dark comedy.

If you’ve got Amazon Prime then watch Wire In The Blood!!!! It’s brilliant!! Robson Jerome plays a Clinical Psychologist working alongside the Major Incident Team. Or what about Spooks on iPlayer?

WagnerTheWehrWolf · 03/02/2021 12:19

Happy Valley is fantastic.

Marcella is blah.

Thirtyrock39 · 03/02/2021 13:50

Stick with the unforgotten it's brilliant but takes a couple of episodes to hook you in

Mooserp · 03/02/2021 16:53

I second the recommendation for Guilt! Really enjoyed that, I found it refreshingly different.

And as everyone else has said, Happy Valley is outstanding.

midsomermurderess · 03/02/2021 21:01

Guilt is a cracker. It was commissioned for BBC Scotland and I think it has taken a while for viewers in the rest of the UK to catch on. The soundtrack is also fab. Shazam away.

DiscontentedWoman · 03/02/2021 21:07

Happy Valley is truly outstanding. Unforgotten is also really good and it's worth watching the first 2 series as I'm sure a third is fairly imminent 😊 can't be doing with Marcella

bangheadhere40 · 03/02/2021 21:12

The sister on it is good

JayAlfredPrufrock · 03/02/2021 21:13

I see her in Tesco.

covetingthepreciousthings · 03/02/2021 23:03

The Fall & Killing Eve are both excellent..

CatherineCawood · 04/02/2021 00:28

Happy Valley, obvs! 😁

sonnysunshine · 04/02/2021 00:31

We just enjoyed traces on iPlayer.

Silversun83 · 04/02/2021 08:52

Line of Duty... First three series (particularly series 3!) is immense.

Silversun83 · 04/02/2021 08:53

Is HV the one with the dead sheep at the start?! I couldn't get into it.

bloodyhairy · 05/02/2021 10:09

The Fall is amazing.

morninglive · 05/02/2021 10:52

Watched 30 minutes of Marcella then just got fed up with her ridiculous facial expressions and the unnecessary ambiguity of the plot.

Deleted the whole lot.

OhWhyNot · 06/02/2021 00:58

Happy Valley is fantastic one of the best shows in the last 10 years

Marcella I watched first series it was ok

I always find Line of Duty the plot too confusing Confused

YoutubeZoom · 13/02/2021 19:03

@bloodyhairy

That was at the start of season 2.
RandomDent · 13/02/2021 20:01

Noooo Marcella is great. It is confusing but it sorts itself out in the end. Just ride it instead of trying to work it out.

But Happy Valley is also wonderful. Great shout for No Offence too.

FlatteredRhubardFool · 13/02/2021 21:33

Still going strong with Scott and Bailey here with Happy Valley on the list for when S&B runs out.

I really like S&B. Whenever I see Amelia Bullmore in anything else I’m surprised that she isn’t in the paper suit!

sweetheartyparty · 15/02/2021 07:11

Happy Valley is one of the best British dramas I've seen. It was really tense

sandgrown · 15/02/2021 07:12

Happy Valley is great especially series 1 .
