Homeland: can I skip Season 3 (disappointing after 1 & 2)?

Hi. I recently got into Homeland, and absolutely loved Seasons 1 & 2. I was enthralled by the whole Nicholas Brody storyline.

I'm now on Season 3, and he's not in it. It's just some boring banking storyline, and I can't get into it. I'm so disappointed!

If I were to go straight to Season 4, would it make sense? Is the plot different, or does it continue over a couple of Seasons?

Thanks.

You could skip it tbh but I'd stick with it

You need to stick with it, it contains some important plot stuff.

Ok, I'll try. Have googled Season 3 and it seems I'm not the only one to feel this way. I shall persevere!

How far have you got in to it?

As you were enthralled by the Brody storyline, then you really need to keep going.

(Trying not to post spoilers, but this series really matters)

Nah, still finding it hard to give a shit about this. It's not doing it for me at all.
It's hard to believe that this could ever get better than S1&2.
