This is really bad. And horrible.

This was actually so boring that I couldn’t even bring myself to binge it all! I got to episode 5 or 6 and just didn’t care what happened and so didn’t bother finishing it.

Absolutely no story whatsoever!

So the other bearded brother just decided to torture kill abs drag body into his mums house to teach her a lesson ?

I think the torture was because he was the only person who knew Keira and Jack didn't trust her story...so now we have to wait to find out how much he said about Marcella......presume the murder was just because he could.

I don't think Jack is a Maguire, just a very old friend of Finn's who doesn't like Keira because Finn is distracted by her.

I may be wrong but Jack is the one who's teenage daughter died (Cassie) of a drugs overdose just before he got out of prison. Daughter was living with Jack's mum. Jack and Finn are best mates and Jack went to prison to keep Finn out of prison. Well that's my understanding but could be wrong!

While we're picking holes in plot lines....I'm pretty sure that if you're an undercover cop and someone recognises you, the correct procedure isn't to go round to his house and hold the fella by the throat and tell him 'You ain't seen me, right?' in a threatening way but yet not entirely unlike that character from The Fast Show! 🤣

Wow! It was almost a bog standard thriller with a bit of who’s the real bad guy thrown in, then bang! It waited a few episodes before going full on Classic Marcella-wtf-batshittery. Must remember to heed my own advice on another thread and not over analyse - just ride it.

The whole thing is just bloody irritating. No idea wtf is going on and I'm only sticking with it to enjoy Amanda Burton being a stone cold badass.

Amanda Burton is amazing in this. As usual the men have buggered everything up. It’ll all sort itself out in the end, it usually does.
