@Oneearringlost

Did anyone read "Tales of the City" by Armistead Maupin? V beautiful, I read all the books in the early 90s and have never forgotton the characters. Oh, Mrs Madrigal....
Wonderful books. The TV series was pretty great too. I went to San Francisco in the 90s and went looking for Barbary Lane.

Ahhh, yes Barbary Lane...did you find it? Or, at least the place it looked like in your imagination?

I didn't like Jill saying it was the mother's fault that he died. It really wasn't. I wonder why his sister was so weird.

^^ O

O good. I thought I was the only one who thought the same.

Mum was TRYING to understand in the end, and just did what any mother would prob do-just want to look after and care for her 'baby'.

She was horrible for keeping his friends away at the end though. He died alone!

His sister was comforting Roscoe at the end.

Fun fact - the guy Jill visited in hospital at the end, she held his hand was played by Brian Cant's son... Playschool icon.

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/02/2021 11:23

Finally seen 5

Agree she was horrible to not let them see him

I wouldn’t have rang. I would have just gone there abs knocked on door and barged in
