Anyone else looking forward to the new episodes of First Dates on tonight?
It's one of the programs I always find myself watching, I really enjoy the banter between the staff too.

I thought he might have used a pudding bowl for his fringe . I thought he seemed to be a nice guy, it's a shame it didn't work out with him and Lauren.

I thought it was a shame too, it was good that he opened up about the steroid use affecting his fertility.

Is this on episode 2?

I’m watching it weekly and as far as I have seen, Lauren had a date with a nice guy but kept eyeng up the body builder guy and at the end of the program it looked like she was going to get a date with him i. The restaurant?

If you’ve binge watched the whole series please try not to spoil it for thos of us who watch weekly.

Since the episodes were available ahead of broadcast online for everyone to watch, it's fair game to comment on them. I suspect this will become the norm soon as people should be able to watch when it's convenient for them.

This is what happened with The Serpent on iPlayer, you will see on that thread that everyone was at a different pace and if posters didn't want spoilers, they came back to the thread later on. Why not start a thread for the show at the broadcast pace, rather than writing passive aggressive comments here? That would be a much better use of your time 🙂.

But I guess I don't always assume there'll be spoilers because that's always how it used to be. But perhaps we should assume there'll be spoilers now unless it says it in the thread title

It was hardly passive aggressive - jeepers!

Usually if there are going to be spoilers it says so in the title, but this one doesn’t.

The message had passive aggressive undertones (albeit subtle) and I was pretty much being told off like a child for commenting on an episode that was there for public consumption 🤷‍♀️. FWIW, I have not binge watched the entire series. I wouldn't bother with the Netflix or Amazon Prime programmes in that case, the threads and all their spoilers may just send you over the edge.....

A new precedent has been set with other shows now on these threads, so I would expect 'spoilers' from now on.

I think that if programmes are on Netflix and prime it's pretty obvious either way that there'll be spoilers so yes I do avoid them if I don't want spoilers

I too think that spoilers aren’t expected on a terrestrial tv programme thread that doesn’t have Spoiler in the thread title.

Btw I'll put my 2 pennies in on the spoiler thing and say that this isn't a spoiler because on 4OD it says first shown on 4OD on the 26th of Jan and PP commented on the 27th of Jan. Some just need an excuse to be bitchy! There's already enough of that on Mumsnet.

I thought BDSM was creepy but so was the married guy who cheated on his wife, can't remember if that was from the same episode?

This used to be one of my fave shows bit honestly couldn't get half way through the second episode. Love Island wannabes with no personality or charm or stories. Does this series get better?

I used to love this but I stopped watching in episode 3 of this series, its got really sleazy

@purpleme12 Good to know you're not offended, I'm trying to take part in the thread, which is why I came here in the first place. It was an older episode, lol. And no, the entire series hasn't been available to binge watch since they were posting 1 episode per week, ep. 6 isn't even available yet.

@bonfireheart I know what you mean about the Love Island wannabes, but some of the pairings later on in the series are quite nice to watch! Funnily enough the couples I'm talking about are the non wannabes...

Chloe & Ellie were so cute tonight.
