After congratulating myself for actually remembering this was on I settled back to watch it. Intriguing! Love the "Where's the fucking fridge, Harry!". A smart house would be my absolute nightmare!!!

Do you think the grandparents are involved - they had been bankrupt before.

It’s a corny plot - husband dies and wife finds out things weren’t as they seem but it is being handled well and with humour. The strange house adds another twist and the casting/ acting are superb. We have a long way to go I think but he dowdy, downtrodden parents are clearly not what they seem.

Yeah, the house really bugs me!

We started this last night, only because 9 year old DD had seen a trailer and wanted to watch. She’s loving it, but I just can’t get my head round what it’s supposed to be - it’s trying to be both drama, thriller, comedy, and failing at all.
I think all of the acting is wooden, despite it being a great cast.
