Has anyone else watched this?

I just watched all 4 episodes on iPlayer and it's left me with so many questions.

I'm not sure whether the narrative in the documentary didn't quite hang together or whether it's because Ashely herself doesn't really know what happened, either through blood loss or dissociation, or both.

How could she have bled that heavily and been able to drive her car and not left a trace of blood in the car? How could her husband not have noticed she was pregnant and been able to get away with saying so little to the police?

I could quite believe that she suppressed the events of that night from her memory but then to re-marry and not mention the accusation to her husband until after the wedding? That threw doubt on everything for me, that she was capable of that much duplicity/ deep denial.

I wish there was one more follow up episode. What does everyone else think?

What’s it showing on?

When I saw how very pregnant she looked with her most recent child, I wondered how no one could have noticed she was pregnant the last time. I know everyone carries differently and I thought maybe she didn't really look pregnant but there was no doubting she was.

I also agree about the blood loss and ability to drive. The scene was horrific. I honestly thought the husband must have had something to do with it.

Its on BBC iplayer.

It's on BBC One right now.

4 parts altogether and part 3 now.

I wonder if she has a dissociative disorder.

It was all very WTF, and too many unanswered questions. I wonder if first husband Kennard took the baby and dumped it for her as there were holes in his alibi. Really awful though, I can't comprehend why someone would do that.

There's already another thread on this programme somewhere.

Would you recommend it?
