In what way? Both House and the good doctor rely on a lead who is socially awkward/highly intelligent and the challenges they face.

This is obvs still a medical drama but to my mind pretty different in terms of the challenges faced by the lead

I think in any medical drama (I also like greys anatomy and new Amsterdam) there'll always be a conflict between medical reality and dramatic storyline 🤷‍♀️
It's not meant to be 24 hours in A and E

More drama of their lives then medical

I love greys, house, er, new Amsterdam and good doctor, they are essentially soap operas in a hospital so I really dont mind them distracting from the medical stuff. Too graphic and I cant watch lol
