Overview for those who missed it - very wishy washy and Gina Ford mentioned I see
-----------
CLIP Feeding is not bonding time, don't give any eye contact. 'Getting milk down them ' to survive the next 4 hours until the next feeding.
CV
I'm not that extreme. I do like babies.
They (Babies) just need rules and consistence parenting.
I only leave a child when IT has been checked...that IT is not hungry etc
I wouldn't leave a baby crying more than 5 minutes and then return...20 minutes before they sleep.
I keep checking the baby is safe.
Awful being called a child abused by ~Gina Ford~...Not an awful difference in our rules.
I have challenged Gina Ford to meet 'Head to Head' to see who's method is best. But she is yet to contact me.
I didn't mean to offend anyone.. but it is the parents I train not the babies.
Caller - Leaving babies to cry can lead to convulsions
CV - No, not if you check them regularly.
Caller - My family couldn't stay away from a new baby for a week
CV - It is for the mothers benefits not to get too tired.
CV
If you want your life back in order follow a routine.
End of the series I had the baby who slept though not the other mentors.
Question from presenter
At 3 months all the babies seemed to be sleeping though etc so is there any benefit in using a routine
(Implying what is the point)
CV
The CC babies weren't sleeping though by 3 months, not sure if they do yet.
Caller - Supportive caller saying if kids had more routine they wouldn't be running riot like they do now
(must be an retired lady from the anti children tone)
CONCLUSION
CV IMO is doing a PA stunt trying to clamber back a living and keeps repeating that her babies sleep thought the night
Yawn and so your babies who sleep though in a room on their own, have an increased chance of SIDS not something I would personally pay £1000 a day for.
