Who will go through to finals week? Will we have to find new favourites? What will they do instead of the Wanky Restaurant Holiday? All will be revealed.

@littlbrowndog

I really dislike Bart. With that always optimistic face.

But then I am Scottish

My heritage is Dutch and Scottish. Those two parts of my psyche war against each other constantly. But both are frugal, which is helpful.

Oh my god santosh. The nation sobs as one.

Sunbird24 · 16/12/2020 21:41

I can’t remember my Nanna’s cooking, but she did teach me to butter my bread all the way to the edges. Not sure that’s worthy of Masterchef! 🤣

InTheShadowOfTheMushroomCloud · 16/12/2020 21:42

@TheDogsMother

What ! Wait ! Santosh is single and looking ?
If he makes that last dish every day even my DH says he would marry him....
GrouchyKiwi · 16/12/2020 21:42

Fucksake, Santosh. That was too moving.

OP posts:
Pebbledashery · 16/12/2020 21:42

Oh I bloody love Santosh.

JayAlfredPrufrock · 16/12/2020 21:42

Oh Santosh.

JazzyGeoff · 16/12/2020 21:42

Why is it considered new and exciting to try and ape Heston circa 15 years ago?

New and exciting is Santosh, presenting all kinds of scran that no one has ever bloody heard of

Pebbledashery · 16/12/2020 21:42

Grabbing my tissues and crying into them as we speak. Santosh 😭

RomaineCalm · 16/12/2020 21:42

My Gran was fond of serving tinned salmon sandwiches with a partly-defrosted frozen sponge cake. I reckon I could do something with that.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 16/12/2020 21:43

Tiffin!
No, Santosh choking up. 😪
I was describing Bart to dd and she said “god he sounds soooo Dutch.”
Hispi! Drink.

fourquenelles · 16/12/2020 21:43

One of my nans cremated pork and opened tinned carrots and peas for lunch.

The other made pastry that was pure white even when cooked and could have been use as dustbin lids.

Belepheron · 16/12/2020 21:43

Anyone else remember a winner 15 or so years ago, Indian heritage, very quiet and had the same adorable vibe. A bloke. Name started with a D.

ILoveYou3000 · 16/12/2020 21:43

Oh Santosh 🥺

What a lovely, lovely man.

Halsall · 16/12/2020 21:43

@itssquidstella

Go Santosh! What a star. Did anyone see his Instagram post where he was wearing his masterchef tunic and his Nepalese Dhaka topi! He looked so proud 😊
Yes, stella - and Rahul from GBBO posted on it to say he's rooting for him too Smile

Cured salmon on breadcrumb rounds, and sponge cake ice cream for dessert.

Now we have a tears and snotters tsunami. Such a lovely man, such a tough beginning.

Pebbledashery · 16/12/2020 21:44

@fourquenelles 😂 did they know how to use an oven 😜

Biscuitsanddoombar · 16/12/2020 21:44

Santosh talking to himself is adorable!

Was that Druv (sp)?
ApolloandDaphne · 16/12/2020 21:44

My menu a la gran would be

Lentil soup
Fish and chips with peas from the garden
Clootie dumpling.
Washed down with her ginger cordial.

I miss my gran.

TheDogsMother · 16/12/2020 21:45

My gran was partial to a Bird's Eye Crispy Pancake so that would be my inspiration

itssquidstella · 16/12/2020 21:45

Welling up at 12 year old Santosh with his lunchbox

Pebbledashery · 16/12/2020 21:45

My nan did a mean shepherd's pie.

JayAlfredPrufrock · 16/12/2020 21:46

I love tinned salmon on brown bread with a splash of vinegar.
