We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

I think Bob is a bit drunk and he's very bitter.

Bob has very old-fashioned views on career progression for women in the army. Clear he's had too much to drink and has a very bad view of women.

No wonder Angela is fuming, especially when Chris doesn't exactly fight her corner.

Well the dinner in the sergeants mess looks a joyous occasion.

Bob is also a misogynist!

Nooooo, Bob has gone in search of Stacey the Elf and starts to tell her she's wasting her time with Andy.

I hate this next bit. It brings back some horrid memories for me (having years ago had some similar experience to Stacey).

Weird background music - I’m finding it very distracting.

This is very unpleasant - is there a metaphor there - as they stand amongst the pieces of meat, Bob treats her like a piece of meat.

He's a bit over the top.

Word of a (male) sergeant against the word of very young female private. Revolting character. The arrogance of the man to think he's going to get away with this.

I think Bob knows he has been an idiot, now that he is sober. However, he will want to cover it up somehow - probably best to put the frighteners on Stacey.

There are certain benefits on being the colonel's driver - he's taking his doctor wife and Stacey to her surgery. He's enlisted Sam Sheridan to assist.

Looks like the C.O. is going to interrogate Bob. He is going to deny it and blacken her name.

Bob is trying to muddy the waters with Chris, spinning him a yarn.

Bob goes to the swimming pool and threatens Stacey.

He also tries to get round Chris McLeod.

Briggs is being remarkably sensible
