I managed to watch last night but DS was talking non-stop over it so I didn't get the full benefit. It was nice to have an episode all about a patient for once and not so much about the main characters, and Gobby was great. I did spot the very large tap.

Re the houses (and yes, you could fit the whole of our ground floor in some of these kitchens, we are more Corrie-style) - the one with the lesbian couple the other day reminded me of the one with the dastardly consultant who kissed Ruhma. Maybe they have a set of half a dozen or so large houses that they rotate as locations. The Gobbies current residence seems more farmhouse than Brum.

Expensively I thought it was the consultant’s house too.

I always thought it was funny that Gobby was obsessed with having a conservatory (about 3 houses ago, before they randomly inherited one from a long lost aunt)- and then once they got one, they never seemed to ever use it . You would have thought, having banged on about it for so long, the conservatory might have featured at least once !

I would love to know how big Emma's house actually is. She's had half the cast living in it. Mostly at once. And Ruhma seems to to have downsized into a mansion. .

Yes, the consultant's house had a distinctive hallway/landing (where the dastardly doc snogged Ruhma)- it probably was the same place.

They seem to re-use 'farmhouse' locations too.

Yes, I forget what you call them - is it gallery landings? I lodged in a huge house with one once, the stairs came up the middle and you could walk right round, there was a sofa, TV etc at one end. The kitchen was poky and old fashioned though.
