Oh no! That's bad about the isolation.
It's so disrupting for the school children. :( four times is crazy.
This boy is ok but his voice isn't very strong.

80s it has been an odd year.

The last Voice thread happened on the very week my dc stopped school in March.

I don't think Gevanni was Will's strongest act, and I have no idea why he chose him- other than the fact he's a young kid. He was by far the weakest last week.

Raahh is your DD at primary or secondary school?

Thanks all- I am really getting fed up with it- she's in year 10, and this is really not a great way to start her exam years. They don't do 'live' lessons anymore either, because they are now only sending home 'close contacts'.

I am convinced she will end up isolating over Christmas at this rate. .

Noisy secondary- the primary schools are not doing as badly (only one case in dd2s school- but she has been off for weeks because she had surgery last month).

Manchester schools have been really badly affected- and some are dealing with it better than others.

The sending home close contacts thing is exhausting for all concerned. I am setting about three different lessons. It's shit!

Piggy it must be so hard. I don't envy the teachers. DD1 is doing ok- but she would much rather be in school- she feels she is missing a lot now.

Piggy there is usually a break after the first act.

Raahh that sucks, especially in such an important year. I don't know how the secondaries are doing round here (we're not too far from Piggy) but I'm keeping everything crossed that DS's primary remains clear (well we can hope!). A couple of the local primaries have apparently had the odd case.

noisy we are doing OK at the mo : about 4 (known ) student cases but parents are rather gung ho! So lot so of kids in school coughing and spluttering. High staff absence last week. But nothing like what it's like in the NW.

I like Blessing's attitude.
