I saw it for the first time the other week when our Sky went funny, those little tiny things are so cute! Annoying, but cute.

LadyVictoriaOfCake · 08/10/2007 18:38

okaaay, now what is a pinky ponk lol reminds me of peters VAC pump with those noisey.

Og pog is Makka Pakka's bike thing which holds his trumpet, sponge & soap.

scarybee · 08/10/2007 18:40

I quite like it and my DS likes it a lot. He waves his arms and legs about and snorts which is very high praise (he is 7 months)

The pinky ponk is the little caravan thingy

GreenSepticStumpsleeves · 08/10/2007 18:41

Bah, it's just bargain-basement teletubbies

Beelzebug · 08/10/2007 18:41

Aw the pinky ponk, a nice smooth ride on the air ship.

The ninky nonk is nuts though and is bound to give you whiplash!!

curlywurlycremeegg · 08/10/2007 18:42

isn't it a ninky nonk, or something like that

QuootieSpookypie · 08/10/2007 18:42

roffle @ bargain basement teletubbies

curlywurlycremeegg · 08/10/2007 18:42

Beelzebug · 08/10/2007 18:42

LadyVictoriaOfCake · 08/10/2007 18:43

Should I get out more

scarybee · 08/10/2007 18:43

Bugger - got the ninky nonk and pinky ponk confused. Who makes up all these stupid names anyway

MorocconOil · 08/10/2007 18:44

My 3 DC all love it. The oldest is 8

We went to John Lewis today and DD had a tantrum because I wouldn't let her have the dancing Iggle Piggle. I was tempted because it was cute. I usually hate those gimmicky toys.

Beelzebug · 08/10/2007 18:45

DS2 is 13mths and chunters along with the tittifers and thinks they're great. He loves Makka Pakka.

I find the pontypines disturbing

Mossy · 08/10/2007 18:46

I have to say though, I do wish someone would give those Tombliboos a piano lesson.

Also does anyone else think that there's a three way love triangle between Igle Piggle, Upsy Daisy and Macca Packa?

Does anyone else think I should get out more?

ledodgy · 08/10/2007 18:48

I can't help wishing it had been out in my yoof when I used to take acid.

MorocconOil · 08/10/2007 18:51

Teletubbies was used in chill-out rooms in my clubbing days.

scarybee · 08/10/2007 19:29

I remember getting very stoned and watching Playschool

Sheherazadethegoat · 08/10/2007 19:30

i find it soothing and dd has taken to sleeping with a large stone.

barbamama · 08/10/2007 19:31

when do the blue pontipines come out?

ceebeegeebies · 08/10/2007 19:31

My Ds (15 months) absolutely LOVES it and I find it very paceful and relaxing at the end of the day.

DS even clicks his tongue in time to each of the Pontipines closing their eyes and going to sleep - very very cute!!

StrawberryMartini · 08/10/2007 19:31

Have you seen the episode where one of the tombliboos drank too much plinky ponk juice? Poor little thing got tummy ache and had to go to bed!

scarybee · 08/10/2007 19:32

Sorry - meant to say that this is loads better. Students today, don't know they're born, etc, etc

Kathyis6incheshigh · 08/10/2007 19:34

I have spent a long time fantasising about being Macca Pacca and sleeping in his house, esp when ds was waking up every hour.
Now dd says 'Look Mummy, your house' whenever his house comes on.
We also spend a long time discussing the fact that ds is the Ninky Nonk (because he crawls around the floor very fast), Daddy is Iggle Piggle and dd is Upsy Daisy.
