Love Island USA starting tonight - anyone in?

Thought I'd give it a bash as I've missed the UK version this year... anyone fancy joining?

If it's as good as love island Australia I'm all for it. Have they got a local to do the voice over again like Eughon McDermott?

Not sure as yet, they're doing the whole stepping forward thing at the moment so no voice over. First episode always a bit dull

I'm in, not as keen on the USA version but better than nothing

I only watched half of the first one and then got bored of the ad breaks. I need to catch up.

I expect it is toned down compared to the US and UK versions, for example more substantial swimwear.

I caught a few minutes of it the other night. I had to switch off because everyone on it has had plastic surgery and/ or tit/ bicep implants. For a bunch of 20 somethings this struck me as weird, sad and repellant.

also the radioactive teeth....just why???

These men are very territorial considering it's only one week in!

I'm still watching, though maybe not paying enough attention - what happened to Moira for her to be on crutches?

I am up to date. Taking a dislike to Moira - I thought she was horrible to James. Also not keen on carrying ton and kiersten- they both seem so fake.

I think Moira went over on her ankle doing a strange dance after reading out a text, not absolutely sure as also not paying much attention. Not really liking anyone yet. James was really intense although moira did seem to blow a bit hot and cold so maybe just confused

I also need to pay more attention. None of them are especially likeable as yet! I'll put in more effort and report back

I’m watching. James was way too intense with Moria but I also don’t think that she handled the situation well. Mackenzie is a nightmare! I feel really sorry for poor Connor, he can’t do anything right!

I’m also not paying full attention a lot of the time.

I’m completely up to date now. Wow, Mackenzie is emotionally unstable! Not sure she should be on the program, what on earth did she think she was signing up for??!

Felt sorry for Connor, he was as restrained as it was possible to be in that game and she still wasn't happy

@sunset900 wait till you see the episode with the new English girl Lauren. Mackenzie has got serious issues!!

@Rollergirl11 I'm always amazed at how deep they get in so quickly but she takes it to another level. How long was that date? It was like he'd been gone for weeks 😂

I'm getting up to speed and starting to get into it. Only up to ep 7 though so still got some more to do.

Mackenzie is 100% crazy. Moira behaved horribly to James. He was a little intense but he only wanted to know the score after the date really which is fair. She behaved awfully to him and then blamed his reaction on her going off him.

Next ep is one where English girl comes in. Will watch later

@writingsonthewall yes I totally agree amours was so harsh. Just watched tonight's and dying to talk about it!
