Raised By Wolves

At last some new TV sci-fi. Raised By Wolves is now starting to air on HBO Max with the first two episodes being directed by Ridley Scott. I've only watched the first one but it shows promise.

I'm guessing this isn't the Caitlin Moran one ?

Episode 1 first half was admittedly a bit meh. It is starting to explore some interesting points (albeit in a gory way!), and it's reasonably original. The cinematography and locations I think are excellent.

I've binged the whole thing and really love it. Can't wait for the next series now.

3 episodes to go and it just gets slower and slower and more and more boring....not sure I will manage it to the end of the series. I seem to have spent many minutes watching characters staring at bits of rock, making inedible food and putting blankets over themselves.

I love it for Mother and Father, and would gaze lovingly at them for hours on end anyway.
It's perfect late night binge material IMHO, I'd only be wasting that time sleeping anyway!

I heard it started off well and finished terribly?
I was disappointed as I watched the first 20mns and loved it.
Should I keep going?

I've been watching it with my DH but he agrees it has become very slow and we both know from experience it will probably have an unsatisfactory ending. It does contain some interesting themes especially the religious v atheist conflict one. I think I found the first 3-4 episodes compelling but not sure I have the stamina for the last 3 as the middle ones have gone off the boil.
