My mum used to make coconut macaroons using her mum's recipe and I used to eat all the left over rice paper. After she lost the ability to bake I didn't eat a coconut macaroon until I stumbled across some in Waitrose that tasted EXACTLY the same.

Then they disappeared - apparently the firm that made them went bust.

Having watched this technical, I might now have a bash at making some myself. If all else fails, I can always eat the rice paper.
