Dirty John Season 2 Betty Broderick

Finally have a few hours to myself, is anyone watching this if so any thoughts? Mid episode one at the moment and already like it, though cannot stand the husband.

I enjoyed it (have watched it all 🙈). Amanda Peet is a great actress. Such a terrible story though (don’t want to give spoilers for those who aren’t far in).
It’s confusing that they called it Dirty John when it’s nothing to do with that storyline, but I guess made by the same people? I also see the LA times have a podcast about Betty - they did the Dirty John story first, podcast is excellent if anyone hasn’t heard it

I’ve watched most of the first episode and it’s not doing it for me. I might stick with it but I definitely prefer the 1st series.

I am also enjoying it now. Just into episode 2. Wondered about the name too but suspect it's the theme of crimes of passion etc. I think the acting is very good. I read a book on Betty a while back, think the show may be based on that? Not sure. Will look up the pod cast. I suspect I will finish it before morning .

I've just finished it and loved it. Wasn't sure after the first two episodes but stuck with it and binged it. Amanda Peet is great! Very annoying it's called Dirty John though just because it's made by the same people.

Oh I'm glad to see it gets better. On episode 2 and I'm not really hooked yet.

I’m just starting season 2... don’t get the link between the first and second series?!

There is no link, it's just the series is a true crime.
I loved it, it was a bit of a slow burner and not quite as bonkers as the first one, but it was really watchable.

I enjoyed it, though it made for uncomfortable viewing at times. My ex used to financially punish me following divorce and the court room scenes reminded me of my Final Hearing where I was able to put questions to my ex.
