It's so good! I usually HATE trash TV but this is just fabulous.

I love Brett and Jason and want to be friends with them - they are so calm and nice.

I hate Christine and Davina and possibly also Heather.

I love Chrishell and Amanza and Mary. And Maya is ok.

Such great telly!

Started it this week. Am already on series 3 which I imagine I will binge this evening. Utterly enjoyable trash!

Love this show.

My take is that Christine knows that a villain is needed and totally plays up to that whereas Davina comes across as something of a sociopath.

Also, the weird juxtaposition between the normal 'cast' and Chrishell's very normal sister!

Dh and I are slightly traumatised as Christine is similar to an old work colleague of ours who dh worked directly for as a junior. It was nearly 20 years ago he’s still not really over it!

Stumbled on this a couple of days ago and now me and oh and on season 3, I can't hear chrishelle's name without thinking of the toilet roll. Christine is horrible. I dont get the 3 bedrooms 7 bathroom houses why do you need more bathrooms than bedrooms? Felt sorry for davina invited to the bachelor party but not the wedding.

Love love love it. We’ve just binged watched S1 and 2, and just starting 3. And I say we, even my husband!

I love Christine, in that she’s absolutely fantastic television. I can’t bear Davina though

I think the houses have more bedrooms than bathrooms so that every bedroom which sleeps two people has a bathroom for each person, plus a WC room (or several) for guests who aren’t staying overnight. It’s another world, but doesn’t touch upon the reality of homelessness in LA.

Mary should get a new hairdresser. Her hair was much better in season 1. Chrishell does not work for them. She is a paid actress on the show. Amanza too.

I have never in my life watched a scripted reality programme but I have binge watched this in a week! I find it difficult to not just watch one more episode

I am beyond irritated by Christine but it all comes from her own insecurity like all bullies. But Davina is the absolute worst - quietly shit stirring.

I get that Romain looks good but the man can hardly say two words. Can’t see why she married him (Altho I read this morning they had a civil union a year before the filming started - maybe he needed a visa?)

I love it. I was so engrossed watching it.

I hate Davina she's boring and nasty and I can't find a nice word to say about her.
Christine is at least funny with her bitchiness and has some kinder moments.

All the rest I really like.
Poor Chrishelle and what a truly lovely person her sister is.

I see the tabloids are reporting that Mary and Romain actually married before SS started which makes their proposal and wedding storylines rather fake 😬

I'm far too invested in this programme!!

I read at the weekend that hardly any of them have sold a house through any of the series. Even the favourite Mary has only sold a few in her time. We said it’s great for trash viewing if nothing else is on.

We all liked Maya until she suddenly told Mary what others have been saying about her relationship. That must have been scripted no intelligent adult would be such a blatant shit stirrer. No one would ever tell you anything ever again!

Ha. We watched all these last week after dh getting the tip off from a couple who could legitimately pick whichever house they wanted from the show (they have four or five multi-million dollar pads currently, one in uk, one in San Fran, one in the Rockies and I forget where the rest are...) They are addicted to the program

Apparently they all genuinely have their real estate licenses. Amanza and Chrishell both entered saying that they had no experience, this was the first time they'd sold houses - Amanza had staged them before though/been an interior designer. Chrishell said she was an actress before. So none of it is hidden really.

I found it strange that given the high commissions and that Mary is supposed to have been doing this for much longer, that she couldn't really afford to buy a house. Agree she needs to eat a bit more. It makes me sad to look at how thin she is.

It seems to me though that there is certain skills overlap between acting and high end estate agents. Quite a genius idea for a show in LA.

I'm bingeing on S1 with DH.
I'm trying to justify it by saying the production values are high (which they are, typically for Netflix), but it's a guilty pleasure for definite!
I like Christine, she's so quick-witted and 'basic' is my new favourite description.

I finished season 3 last night. Absolutely love the show. Feel for Chrishell. She's lost so much weight! I don't know anything about Justin hartley but what an arsehole!

Also, davina is so odd. I can't work her out. She seems to be completely missing a sensitivity chip. Genuinely seems to be something wrong with her?

I’m loving this show, it’s the first of the type that I watch.

I’m still in Season 1 and I just can’t with Romain, I mean, does he develop a personality in the next seasons? I don’t think it’s the language barrier, he just doesn’t have an opinion about anything. Why is she with him.?

Also, can’t wait to see if anyone buys that 40million dollar house. I just can’t believe someone would spend that money and not have a gorgeous garden. It just seems perched in the hill surrounded by other houses overlooking it, surely people don’t pay that money just for the city views.

So started watching it tonight and got through five episodes but I am clearly way behind!

Does Romain actually talk? He’s constantly interrupted. There just doesn’t seem to be anything about him.
