I watched this and read the book. It is absolutely heartbreaking. Lemn is just so lovely. His foster parents were so cruel. The thing that broke me in the book is he didn’t understand why he was so hungry and why he ‘stole’ the biscuits. He was a teenage boy.
I wonder about his foster brother and sister, did they want to meet him again.
