@grafittiartist my best is probably their engagement although I think it's my personal favourite rather than the best episode. There are so many good ones IMO.

Worst is anything where Joey and Rachel are together. There was no chemistry and they tried to dumb down her character to match with him.

Best - Phoebes wedding
Worst - The one where they are all up all night.

Best The One in Massapequa - Alec Baldwin guest stars "This room, this place, I must take a mental picture. click" So good and ridiculously quotable.

Joey Speaking French - they'd just made him a ridiculous character by that point

Worst ; I have two! The one where Ross is late for his dinner thing and they’re all in Monica’s apartment and that’s it, it’s all filmed in there,
And there’s one at thanksgiving where they go and play baseball and Ross and Monica fight over the gellar cup

Best - too many to remember but anything featuring the Geller parents, thanksgiving, Rachel’s sisters, flashbacks to fat Monica. Plus I’m a fan of all the Ross humour - leather pants, white teeth, pivot. Team Ross all the way!!
Worst - some celebrity episodes; Bruce Willis, Robin Williams, Ben Stiller - all great Movie actors but were outclassed in this show by the main cast. Helen Baxendale was awful as were most of the Brits in their wedding episode - Jennifer Saunders etc

Best - the one with Alec Baldwin at Monica and Ross' parents anniversary. He is hilarious OR the one with "Shut up, shut up, shut up"

Worst - the first series

Best: the one where they play poker. Or I love the one where Chandler goes to Yemen

Worst: the one where Ross and Elizabeth and Rachel and Elizabeth's dad are all at some cabin together. I hate all the Bruce Willis ones.

I don't like the Bruce Willis being Elizabeth's dad ones either it's just creepy !

Worst surely has to be any of the flashback ones?!

Best - I like the Vegas ones!!

Best: The One Where No-one's Ready or the one with the quiz for the apartment.

Worst: well, it hasn't aged well. I used to be obsessed with it, but I was scrolling through on Netflix the other day and realised how few of the episodes I wanted to watch again. I think it's partly because times and attitudes have changed, but also I've got older. I can't see Ross as anything except as a controlling, neurotic weirdo now and that relationship has SO MANY red flags.

Helen Baxendale was awful

I didn't like the character. But I hated how Emily was made out to be a bitch because she didn't want Ross to see the woman who'd flown all the way from the US to tell her future husband she loved him and who's name he said at the wedding ever again. Cutting Rachel out of his life was the very least he could've done.

I agree with these also. Another best for me is Joey dancing with Treeger on the rooftop of the apartment block. I laugh every time.

I also enjoy any with Janice, she cracks me up.

The worst one is definitely the one where joey speaks French. It's just dumb and annoying . And I hate saying that because I love friends so much haha.

Don't know if I can choose a favourite! There are so many good ones! I love all the ones where Monica & chandler are sneaking around . The last couple episodes get me every time too, still cry at the one where Rachel's saying goodbye to everyone individually before Paris.

Best - the one where they watch the Prom video.

Worst - the one where Joey and Rachel get together. And when Rachel goes out with Tag. And all the ones after Rachel cuts her hair short, it's like they ran out of ideas.

Best: Anything with Janice
Although one of my all time favourite pieces of dialogue was in the The One with Ross's New Girlfriend:

Chandler : Yo, paisan. Can I talk to you for a sec? Your tailor... is a very bad man!

Joey : Frankie? What are you talking about?

[Ross enters and touches Chandler on the shoulder, who flinches]

Ross : Hey, what's going on?

Chandler : Joey's tailor... took advantage of me.

Ross : What?

Joey : No way. I've been going to the guy for 12 years.

Chandler : Oh, come on. He said he was going to do my inseam, and then he ran his hand up my leg, and then there was definite... cupping.

Joey : That's how they do pants! First they go up one side, they move it over, then they go up the other side, they move it back, and then they do the rear.

Joey : [Chandler and Ross stare at him] ... What? Ross, would you tell him? Isn't that how a tailor measure pants?

Ross : Yes. Yes, it is... In prison! What's the matter with you?

Best is the one where Ross turns up at the coffee house as Rachel is clearing up and they kiss. Still remember watching it for the first time with all my Uni pals.

Worst is Ross and his leather trousers, the most cringey pile of crap.

Best episode: No mention of the Richard episodes yet? What about the episode where Monica, having caught the "live show" of the video her and Ross found of her parents, steps up to declare: "Dad, I'm the twinkie."
Worst: I don't like the one when they take ages to get ready either.

Best : the quiz for the apartment ( ‘he’s a ... he’s a ... transponser!’ is what we say in our house when we can’t remember someone’s job. Or the New Years Eve dance routine. Or Phoebe giving birth to the triplets.
Worst: free porn. Or the one with Ross’s sandwich.

Best episodes- too many to mention. I liked the build up to Chandler proposing. I liked the Ross/Emily wedding build up, apart from homesick Joey. I loved Joey at the award ceremony.

Worst- any of Ross with other girlfriends- especially the ones with Bruce Willis as the dad. While I loved some of the lines in the one where they’re all late, I agree that Rachel was pretty rotten to Ross too. It was a massive night for him and she made it stressful. They were always a shit couple. I hated most scenes at the hospital.
