Why hasn't the police officer twigged he's been poisoned yet?

I thought Tracey was fantastic. Imagine if she hadn’t shut things down so soon. And much better to recognise that she was dealing with something she perceived as out of her depth than to bluster through (looking at you here Boris!).

My DB was a policeman in Salisbury at the time. Spoke to him about it. He reckons it was very real to what happened.

Apparently the policeman is back at work, but still not back to full fitness.

Has the greatest admiration for Tracy. Says the portrayal of her was spot on.

The day it happened, I had walked charges to school in a little village just outside Salisbury and was stood with other parents having a chat, when all the all hell broke loose, police cars came through blues and twos going. Then ambulances. Policeman who was amongst us, phone went and he shot off. One of the Mums remarked, maybe a terrorist threat.

Little where we to know.

A few days later followed the truck with a car wrapped in what looked like clingfilm, down th A303, towards Porton Down.

Really scary that a foreign power can send people in and do what they did and to hell with collateral damage.
What did the British government do ?

A pandemic with a questionable origin is raging through the world. Many millions affected, almost 500000 dead.
Australia is suffering trade wise because it dares ask questions.

'No-one here seems to be very angry about the fact that Russia let a chemical weapon off in our country'

The whole thing just seems a right balls up. How could KGB operatives travel to the UK undetected, how was Skripal so easily found and why didn't he have basic CCTV monitoring/surveillance at his house that would have alerted security services to obvious looking Russians on his doorstep?

I really hope lessons have been learnt. It did not fill me with confidence and that's without the response which I won't critique again!

I wouldn't be surprised if the Russians weren't already on the radar. There was lots of diplomatic stuff going on in the background; we'll probably never get answers.

I was a bit underwhelmed tbh. I think I wanted more of s documentary and less of s drama. If someone could point me in the direction of a decent documentary, feel free. Smile.

Does anyone remember the case of the man who lived in Pimlico who was found dead in a suitcase? That went strangely quiet after a while ....
