I know, the preview for S3 was explosive. Can’t wait!

I just watched the second season. It’s really compelling viewing. It’s quite an insight into LA culture which is both totally fascinating and completely obnoxious.

Oh my god, the drama! The circular arguments! The utterly outrageous clothes! The face and body work! The shoes! How do they function in those heels?? The houses! The money! The endless glasses of champagne (how do they do that and then drive? Does everyone Uber everywhere?).

I must say I feel a bit sorry for Mary. Maybe there’s more to Romain than meets the eye, but she appears to have tied the knot with a narcissistic toddler who seemed, from beginning to end, completely disinterested in getting married.

Oh wow, just saw the season 3 trailer. Poor Crishelle! Does anyone know when this lands?

Season 3 lands in August! So not to long to wait

This is the best programme for ages and I'm totally addicted but watching it slowly so as tto appreciate it all and will be able to answer quiz questions on it. Should they arise. Bloody brilliant. Makes Lisa vanderpump et al look like amateurs.

I’ve just seen that Crishelle is 38. She looks fab on it. One thing that has struck me is they all must have a good plastic surgeon. Their surgery (assuming they’ve had it, which I think is a pretty good bet) is very natural.

Love it so much.

Some of the women are terrible to each other.

The offence taken about the kids being introduced too soon was amazing, the utter disconnect from reality.
The overpriced 70mil house, what's the man thinking and how can they expect to sell it in a month or two, with no marketing?

They deffo have all had a lot of work done.

How real is it? Obviously the arguments are at least partly staged but are these women really dealing with these huge sales?

Just watched the wedding episode....really didn't like her make up, and she is usually immaculate. Can't wait for the next season.

Having worked as an EA (please don’t hate me- I was a nice one) for 10 years what strikes me actually is how much they’re micromanaged by the twin blokes. They seem to be really on top of the women all the time which I suppose is fair enough given the commission figures and (I suspect) sparse turnover of properties. It very much seems to be quality not quantity otherwise there’s no way they’d have time for all the other pricking around they get up to all the time.

I’m stressed watching Amanza! I was a single mum doing it and it’s not really compatible with the job- too many evenings and weekends and sweating in traffic jams trying not to be late.

I can’t stand Romaine. Ugh! The petulant toddler look is such a turn-off. Mary is like a lamb to the slaughter.

Christine is amazing viewing value! I hated her in the first season but I’m actually warming to her now. Loved her impression of Romaine popping out of the pool 😂

I wondered if they were just employed to schmooze. Davina looked completely out of her depth trying to negotiate with the owner of the mega-expensive house.

Romain - he seems like he's been hired to play the part and is a terrible actor. Christine is terrible! Her impression of him was good though

Excellent series. Christine's look in the second series was off the scale. At some point with her identical face and hair colour and tight high ponytail she looked other worldly.
Crishelle has a hilariously loose tongue.
Davina is dour and cold, style very plain in comparison, but she goes to burning man.
Those two brothers are fab, a lot shows in one of their faces, msyvr Jason's.
Romaine, wtf?! Mary??? What is she thinking?
Heather, yuck, nothing relatable there for me.
Amanza is brilliant, super street but has had everything, very real character.
I like maya, she is exactly like someone I worked with, (who was also pregnant).

I'm gobsmacked at the commision they earn for what seems like sitting around gossiping all day! I know there must be more to it than that, but it seems like they just make a few calls and strut around in 5 inch heels
Do they not have to deal with conveyancing lawyers? Transactions seem to go through very quickly.
The only one who seems 100% genuine and nice is Maya. I did like Chrishelle until she blurted out that Maya was pregnant - rude.
I despise Davina.
Mary seems ok - Christine is clearly there for entertainment value - bonkers rude.
Heather just seems quite petulant and full of herself.
I think the boys need to crack the whip a bit more - the way they let them sit there gossiping is just crazy.

Oooh forgot Amanza - my kind of girl - she'd be cool to go clubbing with but I'd be a little wary of her as she could be fierce!

I think Romain had a point about Davina, I wouldnt invite someone to a wedding who said those things either and Mary should of stood up for that too. Sad that she didnt and thought that was okay.

The girls are essentially left to do what they want as they aren’t on a salary. The commission you see is what the brokerage gets paid and then the girls will get a percentage of that so if they don’t sell any houses they don’t get paid.

I actually wasn’t sure about Amanza at first but I think she’s the most normal and likeable one of them all. I also quite like Chrishelle and really feel for her when you see what’s coming in season 3.

Amanza seems to have a sense of humour that the others don't always get. Like calling the pool Jim (?) and saying she had a body in a bag. They take things so literally.

I have watched both series with a morbid fascination. Great viewing but not for the reasons (in my case) they probably intended.

They think it's showing an aspirational lifestyle. Personally, it's my idea of a living hell. It is so utterly shallow, materialistic, image-focused and sexist. Plus the live-to-work culture is so unhealthy. No wonder they have problems forming meaningful relationships.

Really? I just googled her expecting her to be mid-forties.

I just watched the whole series while doing something else. It was easy to tune in and out of as they keep on coming back to the same daft argument that in real life would have passed off without another thought.

Christina is awful but necessary. I still don't actually get what they do - they are not the developers, they are not the agents...what do they do???

Davina is poisonous. She spends her time dripping poison into people's ears.
Heather looks like Kourtney Kardashian.
The twin owners encourage the harem-like bitching and backbiting. The competitiveness makes for good sales.

It just seems such a toxic environment. Just awful.

Something similar I’ve binged a whole series of today is Below Deck on Netflix. Basically about the crew who work on a chartered yatch with super rich guests. I highly recommend it for some trashy, bitchy watching

Also addicted to this show, love the houses and the OTT outfits. My thoughts; Christine is a bitch/handfull but is upfront about it, Davina is a snake and not a true friend to anyone, Heather is a bit dim, and also the spitting image of her BF ex wife which is a bit creepy - she is a shit stirrer too.

Chrishelle, I don't think she is genuine - the niceness seems quite fake/forced.

Love Maya as she is gorgeous but more natural than the other girls, good sense of humor.

Mary is lovely but marrying a broke toyboy cause your clock is ticking is never going to end well.

Amanza is v cool but lays on the single mom thing a bit too hard at times. Love her style and she seem normalish.

Binge watched it. So trashy, toxic and addictive!

I've also been watching Below Deck all day as I'm poorly. Insane drama!
