Where does sue Radford get her money?

Watched some of their videos tonight. I remember their TV show.

I have one daughter and one son. I like to get a small range of next clothes for them because they wash well. So I am familiar with what they sell.

I noticed on one of the newest videos two of her youngest are rocking £24 next dresses.

Then 3 of her youngest are wearing £20 unicorn dresses In another. If she can have 22 kids. Not work. Not claim benefits. I would love to know how she can afford to kit them out in such expensive clothes.

They also just ripped out all the garden. Got artificial grass and a brand new play park. Was it a year agoish they got a new kitchen and dining room?

She gets a brand new pram for every child. She spends a fortune on them on their birthdays. They also get more holidays than an average family with two kids.

I notice the new baby has the fancy chair that moves to rock the baby. She has the best of everything!!!

I unfollowed her because she was giving an address out on her comments. It is get husband's pie shop. She doesn't want people to know where she lives but she wants the freebies they want to send her. The public send her children gifts and clothes etc. I mean that's up to them but there are children with nothing and they are accepting freebies when their kids are kitted out in next outfits and have hundreds spent on them for birthdays etc.

I don't get it? They've become materialistic and greedy?

It's a look what we've got show.

Hmm
avroroad · 17/05/2020 11:50

Like I said, I'm no fan of them but you are bordering on obsessed OP. Like people have explained, and lot is gifted/sponsorship/advertising.

What is wrong with you that you need to be so invested in what another family has?

ArriettyJones · 17/05/2020 11:50

I'm saying she's always buying piles of new clothes and not the average price.

She's got expensive coats for her kids

They all have I pads and tablets and expensive trainers.

They have two dogs to pay for too

They have just done an expensive garden project and sues hoping for lights and projectors and hot tubs etc next.

They have brand new prams for each child every single year roughly. They are expensive ones. Like bugaboo etc.

They have the expensive thorntons Easter eggs.. Clarke's shoes. Expensive equipment for the kids to eat from

Shit you’re an actual STALKER Shock

Are you sitting watching every video they’ve ever made, taking notes in shorthand?

Or are you in her front garden with your nose pressed to the glass? Hmm

RandomMess · 17/05/2020 11:50

"it's a look what we've got show" - well yeah that's what gets people to click and earns them money...

Isn't that what most of these "influencers" but on SM?

Sparklingbrook · 17/05/2020 11:51

It is very stalker like. Switch it off.

Buzzybee23 · 17/05/2020 11:51

Oh yes I'm so obsessed and invested in them. Grin I'm booking in with a therapist. Your very invested in my mental state too. Maybe you should join me. You seem to be very obsessed with labelling me Grin

It's a look what we've got show.

They are doing it wrong then. Who is impressed by a dress from NEXT? Except for you OP who seems to consider NEXT as the holy grail

Buzzybee23 · 17/05/2020 11:52

Hahaha yes I'll switch it off. Ermmmm oh wait it's not on hahahaha

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 17/05/2020 11:52

Follow some influencers on Instagram and get really cross. Grin

Buzzybee23 · 17/05/2020 11:52

Yes love next. It's great isn't it. Best shop ever.

OP posts:
ArriettyJones · 17/05/2020 11:52

Well what exactly are the radfords about?

If you look at them, every single video they make is about materialistic things.

It's about birthdays and presents. Buying clothes. Spending on the house. Buying for a new baby

News flash: That’s what Insta and half of YouTube are all about.

I have an AMAZING hack - I don’t have Insta, or FB, and I’m picky about YouTube. Try it.

Buzzybee23 · 17/05/2020 11:54

I apologise that I watched them before I realised what they were about. Your so clever to have never fallen into a trap like I have.

They'll end up with less and less tax credits as the older kids entitled get older and drop off the claim and the new ones won't get it, but it's very clear their income has risen alongside their fame so it's pretty obvious what the answer is.

ThePianist38 · 17/05/2020 12:15

I’m no fan of them either, in fact to be totally honest I believe she’s got some serious MH issues, but I do appreciate their cleverness at making money 😂 the bakery is def not generating enough revenue to sustain that kind of life so is benefits and sponsorship.

midnightstar66 · 17/05/2020 12:16

Oh and to add Clark's and next both have outlet stores and very generous sales. I'm a lone parent on low income and I think people often question the same about how well me dc are dressed - my secret is eBay 🙂. Designer clothes for 2 quid. Next is just bog standard high street with little difference to Asda in price unless you are getting something from the fancy range

Rubyred24 · 17/05/2020 13:30

£20 for a dress for a toddler who will outgrow it isn't cheap. Let alone 3 or 4 dresses.

All celebrities have to use the hashtag. Freebie or paid advertisement etc

Birthdays christenings holidays days out are all for the show. They don't get paid for filming but the show pay them to celebrate to make the show better.

lynsey91 · 17/05/2020 14:54

I get what the OP is saying. Next may not be that expensive but when you have so many children it's a lot to pay for clothes for babies/toddlers.

Buying a new pram every time is ridiculous and pointless.

I have read a few times that the magic bakery makes just under £50,000 which means they can (and I would imagine do) claim benefits.

JudyCoolibar · 17/05/2020 15:33

They'll end up with less and less tax credits as the older kids entitled get older and drop off the claim and the new ones won't get it, but it's very clear their income has risen alongside their fame so it's pretty obvious what the answer is.

Their problem is that their income will drop off once Sue stops churning babies out and the older children leave home.

Buzzybee23 · 17/05/2020 15:42

Im glad someone understands. I don't judge anyone for wearing anything. I get there are sales and stuff. I don't think just because you don't have as much money you don't deserve nice clothes or a treat. I also no next is not a fancy shop. I used that as an example because it's where s huge chunk of her kids clothes come from.

The most I've ever spent on a dress was from next and it was £13. But I have one daughter and one son. I get packs of t shirts from there occasionally and i always get my daughter's PJ's from next. So I'm not saying it's very fancy.

My point is my partner earns 45,000 a year including lots of overtime. We are not rich or struggling. Although we are cutting back at the moment as no overtime! I can't afford to spend the way she does on toys, clothes and Easter. I didn't come on here to tear her to pieces. Although I understand it may come across as bitchy and nosey.

But as I said further up. They show what they have. Thry are not famous for singing or modelling or acting or having skills. They are famous because they will show the public everything. I think I know what food the radfords have in the cupboards more then my own after watching a few vlogs last night.

I wasn't watching it thinking horrible thoughts. I don't hate them. I don't think they are terrible people. I just watched it and thought how does she have at least 18 kids relying on her still. Two dogs. A huge home. New everything. Shopping at a fairly pricey high street store for a huge amount of her kids clothes. She doesn't seem to hand anything down. She gets new prams and new toys for the kids most weeks. They have dominos. It cost £30 for two medium piazzas!

No it isn't any of my business. But I understand now that they make money from showing the public their lives. Which is usually eating cereal. Popping somewhere for an appointment. Chaos at home. Cooking. Birthdays and spending sprees

Fair play to them. They are gifted loads of things according to everyone and I agree now you've said it. So that's why. Not to mention the fans sending them tons of gifts. Just think it's funny that they will accept the gifts but they have a fan mail address. If you were so concerned for your families safety and privacy why would you show them to thousands of strangers. Money talks I guess.

I am sorry I offended some. It was a curious thing. Her lifestyle doesn't add up to what she has.

I agree the kids won't get anywhere near enough focus. Sue is lucky her older girls step in and help with meals and childcare. But I'm sure she knows that anyway. I'm sure the kids are happy Smile they look happy. My kids would attack anyone who tried to open their presents lol.

I actually am not interested at all and couldn't care less to be honest

😂 Someone who doesn't care wouldn't have replied

TroysMammy · 18/05/2020 06:12

They may only get one or two new things, the rest could be hand me downs.

derxa · 18/05/2020 06:39

She might be a secret drug dealer!! (Not really in case some twit gets offended)
I think this is like M&S pie thread. A weird advert for Next.
Also it's 'a lot' not 'alot'.

SpilltheTea · 18/05/2020 07:04

Why do you know exactly what they buy and how much it is? Bit weird.

JudyCoolibar · 18/05/2020 09:08

Because they tell the world, @SpilltheTea.
