DH randomly brought this up last night and we can’t remember the name of it!

It was set in an island community just off the US. A couple were getting married and all their friends came. There had been a mass murder/serial killer on the island years previously and the female leads mother was murdered. I think I remember bodies hanging from trees. The groom to be was one of her best friends. There might have been a wealth divide - grooms family rich hers poor or vice versa. I THINK her father was suspected of being the murderer. The friends visiting for the wedding started being killed off.

Anyone?? I’m remembering more and more but still can’t remember a name.

Was it fairly recent? I watched something like this a few months ago, there was a wayward brother who'd come home from somewhere...maybe prison? And the first episode was everyone gathered together in a beachfront house?

It was a few years ago - maybe 5? But that’s a bit of a random guess. Beachfront house is definitely possible, I think I remember a shot of everyone on a boat getting there (and someone being killed by the propeller possibly?) not sure I remember a brother.

When I think of the lead male I see a youngish (25ish) dark floppy hair type.

Well that was a quick Google.
Harper's island. Horror.

That’s it!! Wouldn’t have considered it horror.
