Hi all,

Aside lockdown, I've been going through a difficult time lately with health issues, DP splitting from me etc. Never watched much TV before but suddenly finding it really helps!
I love humour. Here's what I've enjoyed so far :
The Wrong mans
Fleabag
Killing Eve.

Absolutely loved Breaking Bad but enjoyed watching that sort of thing with DP. Loved the BBC I player ones mentioned above.

What next?
Thanks in advance

Bonus Family on Netflix

Gavin and Stacey or Downton Abbey if you haven't seen them!

Alma is normal is a quirky comedy on BBC 2
Frayed and The End are black comedies I watched on Sky but could be on other channels/ youtube/ netflix.

You may like 'Mum'. I didn't expect to , but it was great. And phenomenal acting.

No Offence, police programme with lots of dark humour.

I loved everything you've mentioned in your OP so I am confidently recommending 'normal people' on BBC I player- it's quite new and I've already binged 4 episodes- it's so so good!

I just watched Dinnerladies again (on Netflix), I remembered it being funny but I’d forgotten how good it was, I couldn’t stop laughing!

I really enjoyed the young offenders to my utter surprise. Some properly hilarious moments

Also have you seen Detectorists? One of the best ever.

If you haven't seen game of thrones get it watched 😁 so jealous if people who get to watch for the first time.

I second mum, and of you like that, watch "him and her' on iPlayer too, it's by the same writer.

Cuckoo on Netflix is good , funny and a bit daft . Nice easy watching .

MrsBungle · 28/04/2020 09:18

Man down is pretty funny. I’ve just watched years and years - not funny but I really enjoyed it.

RaininSummer · 28/04/2020 10:04

I have only just discovered The Big C. Black comedy which could maybe be too close to home for many due to the main theme.

The Good Doctor on Sky Witness or Now TV!

It's amazing! It's a drama about a surgeon who happens to be autistic. It's addictive and has to be watched
