Have now idea what this will be like. Fox isn't exactly class tv (IMO)!

Critics summary (a bit X Files) very different from programme summary!

Definitely X Files! Am going to stick with it - for now. Smile

I’m interested in this

stumbledin · 22/04/2020 18:27

I'm at that stage of thinking this might be really interesting or it may just go downhill!

Still better than repeats of old shows.

Not a bad series and Allison Tolman is excellent in the starring role although considering she's chief she does seem to do less and less actual policing as the series goes on.

Happygirl79 · 23/04/2020 12:58

Tried to watch it last night
Gave up after 15 minutes
Didnt grab my attention at all
Not for me although had seen it advertised and thought it might be good

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/04/2020 10:04

I loved x files so will give a go

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/04/2020 20:14

Enjoyed

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/04/2020 09:13

No one else watching

It’s good

stumbledin · 29/04/2020 13:08

Still watching but finding it a bit clunky. Little girl very good. Lead actress a bit limited?

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/05/2020 16:21

Again suprised no one has read this and downloaded and tried

stumbledin · 02/06/2020 16:58

Well I'm still enjoying this, but the plot twist isn't quite what I wanted. I think I want something a bit more SciFi!

SPOILER ALERT:
Not another bitter woman messing up other people's life. Sad

I wanted a wee bit more X Files/ Fringe too. Looks like there's a second series planned.
Looking forward to NeXt due out later this summer, and of course the TV adaptation of Asimov's Foundation which now looks to be arriving early next year.

stumbledin · 02/06/2020 23:31

Asomov's Foundation??!! Do you know which channel that will be on?

Apple TV+

stumbledin · 03/06/2020 13:38

Never even heard of Apple tv! Does that mean it is only available to Apple users? Sad

Also hadn't realised there is one more episode of Emergance. Wonder where they will go now!

I've watched the first 7 episodes - bingeing I'm afraid!
It makes a change from the usual crime/psychological thriller and I am enjoying it. The acting isn't bad overall. I like the police chief; good to see a non-stick insect shaped woman in a lead role.
The actor who plays Benny though!!! If the writers have him say, "I'm from Wales," make sure he can do a Welsh accent please!
Just looked him up - the actor playing Benny was, in fact born in Chepstow, Wales but he sounds nothing like anyone I know from South Wales!

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/06/2020 23:57

Yes I like the fact she has curves

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/06/2020 22:26

Bumping

I loving it

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/06/2020 14:32

Emily isn’t very nice :(
