i culdnt figure out the bit about 'people coming home covered in dirt and neddign somwhere to kcik off their boots' well if thatst he case, then surely an area at the front of the house for boots ect should've been built in. the bathroom wouldve been fine in the middle of the house, thats where my last bathroom was, no natural light, but then u dont spent a long time in the bathroom compared to the kitchen.

Didn't think they were chunky at all to be honest they both looked totally emaciated by the end of it - maybe they didn't get free pizza from the pizza factory anymore and had to live on Quorn???

I missed the beginning, so didn't see the "planning " stage and what happened to her foot.

Why were they living in a tent ? Surely they could have got one room habitable and then done the rest. Not sure how the bathroom would have worked in the middle tbh, don't you have to have so many doors between a loo and kitchen. And why did they go for a single storey extension when next door had two storeys, then they could have got the bathroom upstairs too.

It always annoys me that people appear to make money on these schemes in spite of themselves. But, well, good luck to them in their log cabin in US !

this one annoyed me. Why don't they make use of the freee advice from someone who knows what they're talking about. I suppose it doesn't make for interesting watching if people just give in but they were sooooo bl**dy blinkered. I'm amazed they made anything, although I do think the end result was ok. I love these programmes but I think they are to blame for people like the women last night thinking it's money for nothing which it aint.
