What a rollercoaster programme tonight. Respect to the surgeons and anaesthetists.

I’ve just read the young girl holly who featured a couple episodes ago with cerebral palsy has died, it was her funeral yesterday but sadly limited attendees due to the crisis, so sad for the family!

Oh no that's awful Sad

LIZS · 02/04/2020 22:15

That's so sad. Paul in today's Sad he still had so much hope, but his son understood that there would be no more treatment due to the heart complications.

Yes it was so sad about Paul :-(
Pretty serious side effects from this immunotherapy

They never mentioned where that little boy's mum was

Anyone watch episode 6 on 19th march?

I did. How sad it was for those people. And so little provision, as you say. It reminded me of the old films showing shell shocked men from WWI. It has to be a form of PTSD, surely? Everyone featured was carrying huge trauma.

Toddlerteaplease · 04/04/2020 17:47

I wondered about mum. She didn't seem to have a role in any decisions about his care see him post op. It's was a bit odd

I was not clear if Yeshua's mother was in UK. They had travelled to UK for treatment, presumably he has British nationality but may be his mother had ties back in ME or her travel was restricted.

Yes maybe I just thought it odd that the background want mentioned really cos usually you'd have both parents there
