Just had to turn off my show for Fireman Sam 🙄 but I just watched a very drunk Jess and Amber at the bar talking all things Barnett. Jess is definitely a sneak. She would happily jump into bed if he asked but she'll be Amber's buddy all the way. Such an awkward moment. And am I the only one who doesn't get her lack of attraction towards her man? I think Mark and Barnett look the same.

This is my new obsession!

Jessica is just awful-stringing along Mark while constantly telling Barnett how surprised she is that he's with Amber (I.e you should be with me)

Agree that Damien seems quite aggressive and controlling under the surface of it but Gigi also seems quite young and naive.

I predict Damien and Gigi will say yes but won't last long term
Jessica will abandon Mark at the last minute and there won't be a wedding
Amber and Barnett will marry but ultimately she's a nightmare and it won't last (his family too disapproving)
Kelly and Kenny I think will actually marry and sort through issues
Lauren and Cameron will marry and still be together

Can't wait for the last episode and hope there's some sort of 'where are they now' follow up!

I'm all caught up and can't wait for Thursday! I am loving this show! Jessica is an absolute state, I'm so embarrassed for her. Mark said when she came back to him in the pods after Barnett ditched her "I know my worth", well he's not showing it now! He needs to get rid of her. He's a nice guy and could do better with a woman who actually likes him.

Gigi and Damian have a connection but they fight so much it has to be doomed.

Amber has no filter or social skills. She and Jessica are battling for number 1 drunk of the series. Barnett is a dickhead, really.

Kenny and Kelly will make a go of it I think, they seem happy, and their families are happy.

I hope Lauren and Cameron get married. I was a bit shocked at her family's reaction to her being engaged to a white person though. In the end her parents seemed to like him so I hope it's a happy ending for them.

Jess seems to have an alcohol problem, drunk all the time and is not good when she's been drinking either. I think she needs to lay off the sauce. Poor Mark but he's also convinced himself they're soul mates and keeps pushing it. I could imagine Jessica trying to break up with him and he going 'I won't let you'.

Amber and Barnett give me 'got married right after secondary school' vibes, even though they're 10 years older. Divorce on the horizon but they'll tie the knot tomorrow. Kelly and Kenny need to see a sexual therapist, so repressed and need to communicate about sex better. Hopefully they can work out their relationship around that though.
Lauren and Cameron will make it, I understand her apprehension though about dating a white guy when she's black considering the way the USA is right now. Loads of chance of them to be racist af underneath it all, especially in the south (although one would hope not in Atlanta).
Gigi and Damien. I would never marry a man who would let his family just not meet me, and not show up to our wedding because they don't approve. Also they hinted at him being not into talking about politics and her being into it. Their marriage will fail if they go through with it. Sucks because they seemed the sweetest in the beginning.

@Raffles1981 Barnett and Mark def do not look the same!!! To me, Mark is not attractive at all physically and I do understand why Jess wouldn’t fancy him but she’s an absolute mess herself!! Barnett seems full of himself too, not keen! Amber is truly cringe, I can barely watch her scenes. Hopeful for the other couples!

Are they all from Atlanta? They appeared to be within driving distance to their homes and families. But I was sure Jessica and Mark said they were from the Chicago area?

btw i found out the bisexual guy had a minor role on love and hip hop or real housewives of atlanta (one of them) but was someones gay assistant on the show so now im thinking are all these people actors

I don't have a clue - they must be mad. Directly opposite to this is Naked Dating or whatever it's called where they choose someone from the look of their naked bodies. After appearing on tv stark naked, how the hell do you face going into work the following morning?

There is an article on Buzzfeed that says in fact 8 couples got engaged.

The show was realistically expecting 2/3 couples and weren't prepared

Gigi has to have some sort of personality disorder, the baby voice she put on is similar to Britney’s insta when she’s going downhill.

Great show but I would have liked to see less conventionally attractive people or people with disabilities. I think they would make more worthy “contestants” and it would serve a greater purpose.
