Nathan is nuts

Grouchy one of my abiding memories of school dinners is eating boiled cabbage which was served from a sort of metal serving tray thing....all of us on the same table had eaten some and then the dinner-lady came round offering more and her spoon uncovered a MONSTROUS PINK BOILED CATERPILLAR nestling coyly amongst the veg.

Cue mass vomming

I like Dr Alex. I like most of them this episode, to be fair. I hate when they get bunched up like this.

Ooh. Just remembered I bought crumpets. Dessert sorted!!

Oh goodie. My type is Nathan (if I was 30/40 years younger). Big and cuddly with a sweet face.

I made carrot and Belgian truffle soup today. I thought the foil pack in the freezer were chestnuts. Nope, bitter chocolate truffles left over from Christmas. I am freezing the result tom see if its better ice cream than soup.
