Cried laughing at first one - Moss behind bar so deadpan.
But last week's was...weak. The mobile phone on vibrate joke was soo obvious. Hope this week's is better.
Sorry, this is supposed to be apprecaition - loved the first series favourite was the 'advert' for privatised ambulance service and the new 'easy to remember' 999 number

Also felt second one was not as good as first. New son character could be funny though. Loved the "sweet smoky cigarettes" bit!

Aaaaah we love it too. I think it's funnier this time - enjoyed episode 2 as much as 1 - but it is different. Roy is kind of softer and soppier. And I did think of Father Ted with episode 2 - it's just getting that extra bit madder.

Am also loving it, despite mocking IT geek DH for watching it I got totally sucked in. Really enjoyed the "Sorry for your loss - Move On" line!

HAve yet to see episode 2 but was crying at episode 1.
The whole episode from the disabled toilet to the 'you look like a man'.
Moss is just so funny. My fave prog at the moment.

I watched episode 1 and laughed alot, episode 2 was a bit less amusing. I made dp watch it (episode2) and stated how funny it had been the previous week - he didnt laugh, not once and wont be watching it again. I will though

it's brilliant, liked the smoking part .

it has half the cast of garth marenghi's darkplace in it playing the same characters. loved that show

I don't like it. Don't find the Irish guy or the woman funny at all.

But I did really like the nerd guy in Nathan Barley.

Back on form this week, what a relief! Last week's was the first one I'd found a bit disappointing so I was worried this series wouldn't be as good. Wasn't Moss great with the cannibal? Unfailingly polite even when he finds out the man wants to eat him, and sitting down to watch a film with him when most people would already have been a mile down the road! I liked the smoking part too, with Jen coming over all russian.
Can't warm to Denholm's son though I'm afraid.

o.k, i know this is old...but rather than start anew thread, i wanted to add my comments, having just watched both series back to back with DH- it is genius!

And the bonus of the lovely Noel Fielding just makes it all the better...
