Please suggest something new to watch!

I like and have watched the following:-

Carnival Row
Shadow hunters
Angel
Dark angel
Buffy the vampire slayer
Firefly
Unbelievable
Orange is the new black
Hanna
The purge
Chilling adventures of Sabrina
The 100
Black Mirror
Fear the walking dead
Game of thrones

There are probably others I have seen but this gives the general gist of stuff I like to watch.

OP posts:

It sounds like we like the same kind of tv op, i love Shadow Hunters. I agree Outlander and The Witcher are def worth a watch. I've just started watching Umbrella Academy and The Order. A series of unfortunate events is good if your watching with kids. If you like period drama Anne with an e and when calls the heart are very good. My friend says Lucifer is good but i can't stand Tom Ellis so i haven't seen it.

xiaomao · 19/01/2020 21:56

American Horror Story
The OA
The Boys

BlueSkies2020 · 19/01/2020 21:58

Messiah on Netflix is excellent. You don’t need to be religious... or if you are religious it isn’t offensive iyswi

BitOfFun · 20/01/2020 01:45

Succession on Amazon Prime is really superb.

PerspicaciaTick · 20/01/2020 01:48

Lucifer
American Gods
Good Omens
Dead like me

TanteRose · 20/01/2020 01:48

just finished Giri/Haji on Netflix - loved it!

MsChatterbox · 20/01/2020 01:57

Another vote for vampire diaries. Be ready to binge watch though, it's addictive!

Blibbyblobby · 20/01/2020 02:31

Preacher is fantastic as long as you are ok with a lot of blood and blasphemy

Pinkbonbon · 20/01/2020 03:08

Definitely American Horror Story.

The American version of 'Shameless' is good too, in terms of how it builds a romance between Ian and Mickey over the seasons. I like them even more than Jace and Clary now :)

ParadiseLaundry · 20/01/2020 04:10

I also think you would like American Horror Story op.

jay55 · 20/01/2020 07:54

Riverdale

SisyphusDad · 20/01/2020 08:52

The Expanse, on Prime. One of the best Sci-fi series around.

FindPrimeLorca · 20/01/2020 08:56

Star Trek: Discovery
Lucifer
Good Omens
The Boys (though it is very gory)

And my non-genre recommendation is Succession which really is phenomenal.

anunseemlylovefordustin · 20/01/2020 13:33

Ooh, following too! I really like Community on Prime, it's quirky and funny.

MurrayTheMonk · 20/01/2020 14:01

Also came on to say Vikings and The Last Kingdom. And Outlander.

Pemba · 20/01/2020 15:22

I can really recommend Orphan Black on Netflix. Earth based Sci-Fi with amazing central performance(s) from Tatiana Maslany. I think she won an Emmy for it.

BreconBeBuggered · 20/01/2020 15:53

We've been watching The Norse Men on Netflix. It's gory in parts but very funny.

OverthinkingThis · 20/01/2020 15:59

Doesn't quite fit with your list OP, but Bridget and Eamon on Amazon Prime is fantastic.

We're also a little way into Thieves Of The Wood on Netflix and its great so far

LizzieMacQueen · 20/01/2020 17:51

Fargo. Series 2 in particular. I've just finished it, quite bloody, going back to try S1 again. Martin Freeman (not Morgan Freeman as I originally thought) is in it.

PerspicaciaTick · 20/01/2020 18:55

I had such a weird and massive thing for Billy Bob Thornton after watching Fargo Blush. And Martin Freeman was fab.

shartsi · 20/01/2020 19:02

Outlander

Summerisdone · 20/01/2020 19:09

I've just finished Treadstone which is new on Prime. Was very enjoyable, it's based on the organisation from the Jason Borne series, although not actually related to the movies so you don't need to have seen them.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 20/01/2020 19:19

Russian doll. Quite dark, but funny. Even dh, who never laughs at things on tv, was giggling.

TheABC · 20/01/2020 19:37

Another vote for Lucifer. First three on Prime and then on Netflix. We actually got Netflix for that show.

TendsToHappen · 20/01/2020 19:45

Preacher
The Expanse
