Don’t actually know how we ended up watching it, but was VERY pleasantly surprised...

Came on here to read the Mumsnet view and seen there wasn’t a thread...

Absolutely would recommend!

I was hooked. It was excellent and interesting to think how the world would react to the second coming of the Messiah. Hope there’s another season

I’ve just searched for this on my tv and it’s thrown up several suggestions...is it a series or a one off film? Also, what year ? I can’t seem to find it. Any pointers re Netflix or amazon would be really helpful too. Thanks!

I think the ending sets it up perfectly for a second season, and I really hope there is one!

Few annoying characters... but most series do so that’s not a complaint...

There hasn’t been much hype about it, but we binge watched and to be honest I don’t binge watch much these days so it held my attention somehow!

It really reminded me of the ideas in Adam Curtis documentaries like HyperNormalisation and The Power of Nightmares. Loved it.

I loved this too and found myself quite captivated even though I started off thinking it’d be a load of tosh.

It did make me think a lot, like PP above, what would it be like if some claimed to be the messiah. It also made me think about how cults come about; religions get adherents.
