Jill Halfpenny - where is she now?

I've been watching Waterloo Road on iPlayer and loving Jill Halfpenny's character and then saw a throwback to her jive on Strictly and got me wondering where is she? Not seen her on a TV in ages and she's great, so hoping she's back on our screens soon!

No worries - I'd just been musing on MN and reading the Strictly thread where someone had said her jive was in the top 10 best dances ever, whilst also watching old episodes of Waterloo Road, so made me think to ask on here.
