Succession - anyone watching/watched?

I love Succession. Brian Cox is such a fantastic actor - just perfect for the part of Logan. Greg & Tom are hilarious. Roman is just brilliant.

Who's watching? Thoughts? I just finished season 2 and it's the best show I've watched in ages!

Anyone?

I love it but none of the characters are likeable. All that priveledge and so unhappy. Kieran Culkin is a revelation - terrific.

@QueenOfOversharing I loved the randomness of having it in an American based programme. It's not like they're team the average American might have heard of 😂

@Pipandmum I love most of them - I went from disliking most of them. Roman has to be one of my favourite characters and Greg is great.

@WhatWouldTheDoctorDo do you think Brian Cox might be an avid supporter of one & they worked it in? It's great for us Scots - like an inside joke. My stepdad would have loved that.

I'm on about episode 8 of season 2, does anyone know if there will be a 3rd one. I even had a dream about it last night!

I finally watched this...binged watched season 1&2.

OMG they are horrible entitled people! The back stabbing and plotting is on another level. Initially I was comparing it to Billions, but nope dare I say it's better? Brilliant acting and storytelling I loved it all.

My favourite characters are Greg, Roman, Kendall and Tom (in no particular order of favouritism).

Roll on season 3!

@NurseButtercup Greg is so good. But surely you love Logan too - "fuck offffffff"! I binged both seasons too - so, so good.

I’ve found my people! I don’t know anyone irl who is watching this, me and DH just finished it on Monday, can’t wait for season 3! I have had that bloody theme tune going round my head for days!

At first I found it a hard watch as the characters were so unlikeable but I’m so glad I stuck with it, I was utterly gripped by the end. Didn’t see either of the big finale twists coming ( though DH guessed the press conference one and ruined it for me about ten secs before it happened ).

Although I have warmed up to all the characters I think my favourites are Tom and Greg ( ‘you cant make a Tomlette without breaking a few Gregs’). Matthew Macfadyen has just been a revelation, never had much time for him before.

I hope we get to see more of Marcia in season 3 - she had such potential but felt a bit sidelined in s2.

Yeah Tom really grew on me this season. He really loves Shiv doesn't he? I felt sorry for him pretending to be all ok with the threesomes! I also bloody love James Cromwell as Logan's brother because I just love him in anything. The characters are all awful people, their reactions to the gunman in the building as they all rushed off for the safe rooms said it all! I think the writing is so good to keep you invested in the story. Definitely can't wait for season 3!

I can't wait for season 3. I love how most of us hated all the characters to begin with, then found the ones we loved. Greg could have been a minor character, but he really was great!

My soft spot is Kendall - feel so sorry for him.

Cant wait for s3, compelling viewing!

Love it but not single character is likeable. If you like it try Bloodline.

I've had Bloodline on my watch list but something put me off. I'll give it a go. It can't be worse than a The OA & I endured the first season! 😬

It was great! The only thing I could get my husband to watch All highly dislikable characters but a gripping storyline. End of Season 2 was fantastic!

Brian Cox is brilliant. Love when he yells “oh fuck affff” at people.

His peeing in the office, the congressional hearing, the twist at the end, everything!

Best thing I’ve seen in ages - can’t wait for season 3. Also can’t wait for my mum to watch it she’s gonna love it.

Reminded me a bit of how good House of Cards was - brilliant character writing

Brian Cox is from Dundee (as is Logan) which is 15 miles from my hometown so I feel like I know him.

I can't wait for season 3!

We started watching Series 1 last night!

The writing and acting are excellent but, yes, they are all arseholes.......so far.

Will I grow to actually like and root for any of the characters?
