Anyone else watching? It's so sad. Her dad is so positive.

It's more real than a lot of reality TV imo.

I have a lot of time for Charlotte Church. She was great on Adam Buxton's podcast recently.

I'm enjoying the program so far, what a loving close family they are.

Lovely programme. They managed to stay clear of imposing ‘jeopardy’ on the timeline and let them get on with it. They all come out of it as real humans with integrity. Lovely

incognitomum · 17/10/2019 22:24

Yes I agree they came across real which can't be easy with a camera on you.

I liked it, always liked Charlotte Church she seems very down to earth

purpleme12 · 19/10/2019 22:35

Yes I like her too

It's obvious that spite of what's gone on they are actually able to talk to each other about stuff

I couldn't help noticing at the end though when her mum was saying all these lovely things to Charlotte she couldn't help saying she wished she put mascara on. And I know they laughed but it made me think of her criticising her

purpleme12 · 19/10/2019 22:36

Lovely to have such a good relationship with her stepdad. Very sad about his illness

nowifi · 20/10/2019 13:00

Yes purple I noticed that too! Probably little comments like that which added to a bigger problem! Glad they were able to sort it out though, they all seem to love each other very much

Dickorydockwhatthe · 21/10/2019 20:38

I really loved this and found myself getting quite tearful. Her dad seems lovely and so positive, her mum obviously has issues but Charlotte came across so normal which really is amazing considering her childhood fame. Would like to see more of charlotte in tv actually she came across quite funny and loved her accent when she kept saying “it bloody lovely” 😂 plus she doesn’t seem to have aged at all!!

purpleme12 · 21/10/2019 20:45

I wonder what she's doing nowadays

nowifi · 21/10/2019 21:39

Yes I thought she hasn't aged at all!

I think she has been doing some music still, more of a rock covers band covering random songs, called Charlotte Church's pop dungeon. Must be good as she had quite a cult following Smile

Mixed feelings
Feel they were fame hungry back in the day, then it went pear shaped
Mum n dad appearing on Four in a bed, seemed a bit desperate to me

Perpetuallyperplexed27 · 24/10/2019 10:00

Not sure how I feel about Charlotte church. She had a Friday night talk show for a while and it was very catty.

Susiesoap7 · 24/10/2019 10:34

She's probably a new album to promote, that's the usual thing.
So many of them have it all at their feet, throw it away, then want it all back years later

Tweetingmagpie · 24/10/2019 13:08

She runs some kind of wellness retreat and is opening a school at her house apparently, she’s gone a bit hippy from what I hear Smile

DianaMitfordM · 25/10/2019 17:43

I think that’s a bit unfair @Susiesoap7
Charlotte was 11 years old when she suddenly became famous. Whilst she got to have some amazing experiences such as meeting the pope and singing at the White House, she sacrificed her childhood.

Wanting time out as a young adult and mother before coming back is hardly “throwing it away and wanting it back years later”.
