I used to hate Val too but she is much more likeable post-cancer.

I'm just watching, the woman has had about four contractions and is seven cm dilated

It was quite speedy, blame. I was so distracted watching, that I didn't even understand the POTD. Was she just scared of giving birth, did she not like her partner? or was the baby someone elses? I don't think I paid proper attention.

It seems to have been a couple of weeks with plots surrounding fear of hospitals/health issues. Doctors likes to stick to a theme .

I am banking on the theme being "cats we have loved" for the next few weeks.

I’ve just read that Ali Bastian is pregnant.

Either she’ll be pregnant with Daniel’s baby or they’ll finish and she’ll need to get away from Letherbridge for a while.

Given that they seem to film about 6 months ahead we might be stuck with her for a while yet, luckily she's got that handy bump-disguising coat.

Shall we just hope that she takes her full maternity leave entitlement?

I know Zara can't but it would have been a great storyline if Daniel had found himself expecting two more babies at more or less the same time.

The bump disguising coat will definitely get a lot of wear. Whatever the weather. 90 degree heat? No problem.

And I would LOVE Zara to be pregnant via some miracle. It would be brilliant. BT and Zara would end up arguing over baby names when they both decide to name the children the same thing. Even though they will be a boy and a girl.

Can you imagine a scene where Gobby finds out they are both pregnant by Daniel but neither of them knows about the other.

Gobby would self combust trying to keep that secret

It would end up spreading around Letherbridge like wild fire.

Complete with lots of misunderstanding and denials-

Like something from a 70s farce .
