Scarborough - pleasantly surprised!

I watched all four episodes last night and really enjoyed it. It's by the same man that writes Benidorm, which is a guilty pleasure of mine though I gave up a while ago!
This seems to have a bit more drama and a bit less silliness, though Is definitely still very silly, and was just really lovely and fun to watch. Good music too, all Housemartins and Beautiful South!
Anyone else love it too?

I know, I quite enjoyed it. I felt Derren Litten had lost his way a helluva lot with Benidorm after the third series and that limped on for far, far too long, hoped Scarborough and new characters would reinject some life and humour into his writing and to my mind it did. Quite gentle comedy (especially when compared with the coarse humour of Benidorm!) and was looking forward to seeing what would happen in the second series.

I’m so disappointed to read they aren’t making a second series. I loved it.
